Guild Wars 2

I really love WvW but there is sooo much going on, im having trouble figuring out strategies mainly because it feels like there are so many of them. Is there some kind of WvW for dummies lol or a really good guide somewhere. I have put in a decent amount of time so far and feel like I have learned little .

I definitely love this game, now Im just working on not trying to be a joke in it lol

TC is a pretty organised server, I’m sure there are many guilds there that could take you in.

Agreed with Grump, TC gave us a run for our money last week.

Just start by following people around and asking random people to party, and they’ll give you the low down.

Guild’s are a huge part of WvW. Try to find one that is active in WvW and i’m sure they would take you. A mic and a voice chat may also help. I know that my server has a public mumble for wvw and it helps a ton just listening to the orders.

A big part of WvW is finding a good commander and listening to him/her. And also finding out which ones are terrible and will simply get a zerg and run to a supply camp and stay there… with all of your players from that map.

But the guild is the #1 choice. Having a small good group from your guild is tons of fun and 5 can hold a supply camp against 10, as long as you’re organized. And even if you’re losing, you and your guildies can still run around in wvw and cap supply camps etc, which pugs hate to do. pugs like to die by running out of the waypoint into the enemy zerg.

ok Ill look into guilds on my server. I have a couple friends I play with but we dont always get to play at the same time so I end up playing by myself more often than not.
