Recent LAG issues
The LAG is server side and making some classes unplayable. Whatever ANET did in the last couple of weeks has made prime-time LAG so unpleasant that i usually just log off.
Yep. Gotten to the point where even guardian staff auto-attack isn’t even hitting anything. My ele can’t lay down AoEs at all. The skill icon just keeps flashing.

I’ve also noticed an increase in lag in the last week or so. Discouraging because for a while there I thought anet had licked the lag problem, but now it’s coming back.
Having some issues for the first time but it could be my fault idk…
ever since the last patch lag has been getting worse each week.
If you open a ticket they will tell you it’s your ISP and no matter what you tell em, what kind of info you provide that they’re wrong, it will still be your ISP and “they can’t do anything about it”
Forward the response to your ISP, see how it rolls.
ANet doesn’t own their own servers … they lease capacity from Akamai. What do you want to bet that after they did that last round of optimizing they decided they could get by with less leased capacity and overshot the mark …

yep last 3 or so days for me now ive noticed the lag and its getting worse, ive finally had to just stop playing, I guess i’ll have to go find something else to play, cheers Anet..

It’s not ISP Anet. My DL speed and latency are the same as they were before in other games. It’s just GW2 that’s the problem, and just the last couple of weeks.
Yea it’s been getting worse again. It was pretty kitten good for a while though. Not sure what changed.

Same lag issues here. It’s centralized to WvWvW. I will be in PVE with no lag, hop over to a Borderlands and suddenly there’s skill lag with 4 people on screen. It’s not even zerg warfare that starts it. It’s shortly after joining WvWvW. PVE, dungeons, etc are all fine. It’s just WvWvW that features these lag spikes. They come and go.
