Ideas of mine from various posts in the past.

1) EBG

>Inflate this map so no structure can be hit from another structure.

>Place SM Castle in the bowl of an extinct volcano, a very high volcano with a multitude of goat paths, switchbacks, rope bridges, tunnels that take you to the top

>The outer rim of the volcano bowl would be slightly higher then the castle itself allowing one way trebbing from the furthest range but forcing defenders to come out in the beginning.

2) BL

>Rename Borderlands to Homelands

>Homeland defenders get a supply boost, that is while in the HL map they can all carry more supply.

>Map again redesigned so no structure can be hit from another.

>Taxes are gathered from local populace so as structures are upgraded the cost in supply and coin to further upgrade those structures is lowered as collected tax covers part of that cost.

3) New BL

>this is one large map that encircles EBG and connects to each Homeland

>it has no structures but rather capture points much like the Bloodlust one

>as your team captures more of these points you form supply lines which will allow you to move a larger number of soldiers into an enemy HL. If your supply lines are broken while your army is in an enemy HL you will be forced to withdraw from that map.

>allows a small defense force to combat large numbers by sending people over to break supply lines.

>this map gives people who want to GvG a place. They do not have to worry about structures but can still help out their servers. Once captured, each point will begin to decay, slower of course then the Bloodlust points unless it is manned. Being able to move a large zerg then to HL maps is dependent on leaving people behind to keep the supply lines open or you run the risk of being forced from the HL maps, especially since the larger the army the more supply is required.

Overall Changes

>Towers/Keeps redesigned so walls are stepped, that is an inner raised part out of the range of enemy ground AOE but large enough to support siege that WILL target people on ground level with the “obstructed” popping up.

>Each tower/keep has a map of placed siege (as trebs are currently ) that can be accessed through an NPC called a Siege Mechanic. 3 people required to click on select all or select certain siege to be refreshed every 2 hours. If not selected it will be dismantled by the mechanic returning 75% of the supply to the structure. This is to avoid griefers, extend refresh times and make it simpler to refresh siege.
