The thing about stability changes. before, stability wS a crutch. You messed up? Well I can rely on stability if I make a mistake. Now you can’t make a mistake. It delegates the good from the best.
However, 20 man fight guilds pose zero chance against a blob of 35+. Numbers make a massive difference now. It encourages zerging.

The thing about stability changes. before, stability wS a crutch. You messed up? Well I can rely on stability if I make a mistake. Now you can’t make a mistake. It delegates the good from the best.
However, 20 man fight guilds pose zero chance against a blob of 35+. Numbers make a massive difference now. It encourages zerging.
Smaller groups against bigger numbers have to change their tactics.. Can no longer stack up, buff and push in.. How bout trying to cut their numbers in half? Maybe try and bait some of the players that don’t stick to the commander to get the m to chase you.. Maybe follow the bigger zerg around and try to pick them off as they move. Flank any chance you get to get rid of some of the squishy players and then push when you are ready.. This whole stability thing ruined this game is a BIG JOKE

I never said it ruined it. But it does change everything. When an elementalist can trap everyone with a static and daze them, while they are stealthed, all the zerg has to do is range bomb. And the small group is dead without a chance. Play with a fight guild.

First off you said “I bet you don’t play melee class” Video shows you that I do.. Second, what is in the video that I should avoid showing?? Avoid showing others that the stability changes are not that big of a deal? That is only reason I linked the videos.. I use them for myself so when this game is dead I can look back at all the fun I’ve had.

That and static fields have an icd of at least 3 sec so dropping more then 1 field in most clashes tends to be a waist of cd gurds are the best line cc in the game atm and they are still mostly melee.

You do realize that just makes your point of view all the weaker by saying “i know what i am saying but i do not want to explain it.” Its like saying “you know me and how i am” as an explanation to ppl who have no ideal who you are if any thing ppl will think of you as that more then any thing else.
Any way the only major thing is the war class no longer as a free pass to get in and out and the other lesser used classes in the GWNE meta are making a bigger show in fights. Its not so much of a melee nerf but more of a War class nerf.

I don’t believe they changed stability to break up groups, they changed it to change the dynamic of WvW, and it worked. The one simple change they had to make was change stability, that was all that was needed.
The solution is quite simple really, get more rangers in your zerg. I’m willing to bet your of the anti-ranger type. They can easily take out your biggest culprits (ele’s and necros) before the engagement even begins. If your still running over top of the lines of warding, then that is your own problem.

SoR is a T6 server? Those maybe large scale for T6 but they are not large scale to everyone T3 and above. Those groups you are fighting would be considered small size guild groups of 10-15. Or small pug groups. Usually not very good anyways if pugs. In T1 havok size is considered 10 lol.
Large scale are what is considered blobs or multiple guild groups hugging each other. with numbers of 30 on the low end zerg.. 60 on the high end blob.

In fights that size stability hardly matters. You do realize that right? Small man stuff didn’t change one but because of stab changes.
Edit: That second video looks like a reset night in T8, there are uhh…plumper groups in high tiers and they’re common as salt.
