first of all, i’ve been leading GoM since the Yak’s bend disaster, about a month ago ? and now im one of the many commanders in BP which puts me in the right position to make this thread because i spent a good times in both servers.

GOM Q: why BP are just focusing our lands and towers and keeps and not anvil rock?
A: it’s not like BP hates GoM. not at all, there are 2 reasons, the first reason is GoM lands isnt guarded most of the time, and BP considers GoM is a threat to them more than Anvil rock, way more. which is totally true IMO, if BP ignored GoM for a day, im pretty sure SM wont stay safe for us

BP Q: We’re getting better or it’s just GoM losing more players and getting lazy ?
A: i still remember GoM Had the entire map in eternal, which is nearly hard to do, GoM players are active most of the time, but there are no commanders, no commanders at all. and this game is all about commanders strategies and zergs, and also after the first match of this tier BP got more organized and they learned from their mistakes, in the other hand GoM didn’t do anything to improve.

Q: BP Are cowards for Attacking the weakest server ?
A: No, attacking the weakest server is fun and its part of the game to gain points, Everyone can agree on that

Q: GoM & Anvil rock working together ?
A: Even if its true, it’s also part of the game and you shouldn’t be mad about it, as long you’re winning …. does it really matter ?

in the end it seems GoM going to the lowest tier and BP are going to move up, more hard work for BP and a good chance to reborn GoM, Goodluck everyone

A few weeks ago before you dropped down to our bracket, anvil and borlis were up against emery bay. We tried the truce thing, and even when non-verbal, it’s impossible to do. Emery bay was and still is a much stronger server than either of our servers could muster.

The cutting at each other? I try my best to stay lighthearted in the thread, as I realize you can’t physically control every player on your server, thus creating the above situation. The internet and anonymity create this realm of hatred, but it’s designed in that way. So, whole servers take blame instead of individual groups.

And finally, the lopsided war against GoM? It’s because you guys are losing faith in your own ability to fight, thus being the easier target. Believe it or not, a few weeks ago Anvil Rock was under the exact same fire as GoM is right now, but back then it was an actual tactic and not a tendency. We used to try to fight everyone at once, and a few weeks ago we had a reputation for being absolutely ruthless in every situation… but we were losing points wise because we would spread our numbers way too thin and couldn’t hold what we took.

It’s much easier to dominate one server than fight equally versus two, bottom line. This isn’t a planned strategy, more of a natural tendency of war.

Just something I want to point out.

In one sentence, you say that GoM is more a threat to BP then AR, then later you say BP are attacking the weakest server(GoM)?

Am I missing something? How is GoM the weakest server, while also being the biggest threat to BP? :P

Personnaly, I think the biggest threat, even if BP will win anyway, is Anvil Rock. I don’t see how GoM could be a bigger threat then AR?

So the only reason BP is attacking GoM, is because they have the number to send an army there, and goM doesn’t have anyone to defend. Easy scoring.

AR and GoM aren’t working togheter yet, but should soon, I think there is some talk about it. Would make this week interresting!

I don’t understand the hatred towards our server other than were winning consistently. Maybe it’s a few people giving us a bad reputation via the forums?

GoM is the real threat, remember i said there’s not a single active commander in GoM. if GoM got a 3 decent active commanders and they got their kitten back together trust me you wouldnt see gom in the 3rd score, that’s what i meant

-How did we get in this ridiculous situation where a commander leaves a server and then tells that server it has no commander? I don’t know much about leadership but I’m not convinced you know much about it either.

-You’ve been on Borlis Pass, what, 2 days? I know, I was in Eternal Battleground when you showed up to tell everyone that didn’t ask or didn’t care that you were going to leave the server. Look, it’s your business where you wanna play. Stop making it everyone’s business that you’re leaving.

Honestly, I’m getting the vibe that you just like being the centre of attention and that’s all this thread is about.

Because this reply and even the original post is completely without worth, I expect neither will last long. I’m embarrassed on behalf of our server for this nonsense.

My guild is on your borderlands every night Borlis is in the lead since we got this bracket and we got nothin but love for you guys. You guys put up good fights and we try hard to put up good fights too. Whoever comes to WvW to hate other people ain’t doing it right.

I have connections, my old guilds in gom, i speak with them all the time because we’re good friends and they tell me there are no active commanders, BUT if i was wrong then you shouldn’t be Loling so hard bud, you shouldnt be ……….

@styx such a long harash reply, i don’t have time to reply to every single point but you’re totally wrong about a lot of things

So BP would aim for the weakest server, becuase maybe if a wave of commander goes back at GoM, they will come on top? Really?

There is nothing to do with being a thread or not. Like some from BP said, it’s only because GoM is the weakest server right now.

Edit: Actually, nevermind.

We have commanders aplenty in GoM. I see the little icon all over the place. I have no idea who the icons belong to, though. They don’t talk in /map all that often.

Oh, you mean ACTUAL leadership. Yeah, not so much. People use our server to cut their teeth on WvW Commanding, then move on to greener pastures. I’m sure we’ll have someone new to boss the zerglings around next week, though.

I’m sorry, but this post is ridiculous.

I’m sure you had good intentions writing it, but it just makes you come across as not all that bright. I’m sure you really are a smart guy, I’m just saying this doesn’t show it.

You can’t leave a server you were an active commander of and then say they lacked commanders. You can’t call a server inept and dangerous in the same sentence. You admit you like being a bully. And while it’s not said, I can’t help but feel you’re colluding to ensure BP will achieve the next tier. An ill-thought out “air clearing” post isn’t the best way to defend your actions, smooth over feelings, or whatever point you were trying to achieve.
