At least with the old system we knew, even if the gap appeared kind of large, we had a chance to do some game changing, which was motivation to rally the troops. Now that’s gone.

Meh you know how many times servers actually came back from large point gaps? very rarely and only because they had overnight coverage that could take advantage of that, or commanders playing overtime into those more empty zones to make that happen, and these days there’s no point to burning yourself out doing so.

If people want motivation, stop picking on the 3rd place team and put more pressure on the 1st place team so you can keep the scoring closer. If you’re 3rd then stop picking on 2nd and go after 1st. If you just settle for the position you’re in and don’t want to pressure 1st for their place, then those players deserve the scoring outcome they played for. Start playing for first and stop going wherever the hell the squirrel leads you.

make it 1 hour skirmish, most battle end at 1 hour, the gap becoming too big after 1 hour and people just give up

make over stacked server pay the price.

example in all 4 borderland:

red 10 players, blue 30 players, green 75 players

red will gain ppt/ppk +20 againts blue (because 30-10= 20)

example: red player kill blue player, 1 points (ppk) + 20 points (bonus outnumbered) = 21 points

red will gain ppt/ppl +65 against green server. (75-10 = 65)

red player kill 1 green player = 1+65 = 66 points per kill

if camps give 5 points, then 5+65 (green), 5+20 (blue)

only outnumbered server get this buff.

no one playing in the 3rd server while the other 2 server stacked?

no ppt it will gain.

ppt need player per kill (that is 0 since nobody killed), and ppt (point captured, since nobody captured anything it will also be 0)..so whats your prob?

come on nobody playing..at least 10 will play

The 6-5-4 score is because everyone started with 3 Victory Points. We will be fixing it so that everyone starts with 0 Victory Points but this change won’t be in for a few weeks.

Looks like it’s done now. See a 0-0-0 score now.

This is a bad choice of how matches are made .How its it when Crystal Desert comes in second place the next match up we are back on the red borderland and now facing SBI and Dragonbrand , SBI’s numbers outnumber our whole server and que every map in WVW .This is cause alot of us to quit knowing that when it comes to WvW anet doesnt care to figure out how to make a balanced matchup .

I don’t remember CD people complaining when they were stuck 6 weeks with SF/DH despite severely outnumbering both… I guess it’s only a problem when you are in the receiving end, amirite?

The problem with WvW unavalabile matches beign update is because most of players aftet a new build they not do the update. When a new build is anounced you need to exit from game totally and after you open the game again will do the updates, but most of us just stay in Lions Arch for example having this message and they complain.
