As of right now I think it’s safe to say that at least half of all the badge of honors in the game comes from jumping puzzles, killing players is simply unreliable and which it should be to be honest, but it gives a laughably small amount of badges.

The mechanics in WvW should promote, trying to capture objectives and defend towers, but as of current jumping puzzles have arguably the most time to reward mechanics in the game, meaning that there are probably some people that just go to WvW do all the jumping puzzles then leave. This should not be how it works.
As for the missing blueprints that comes from the JP I say that karma should be an available currency for buying them. 500 karma = 1 silver ratio, or something around that

so an alpha siege golem would cost 50,000 karma? hmmm the cost of 1 exotic piece of gear or 1 blue print? i think id rather have the JP for that. you do also realize that while half of all badges come from JPs so do half of all blueprints can I know ive never bought a siege golem and i have 12 in my bank and dropped a good 10 since i started playing. And i’ve personally never seen more than maybe 10 people in any 1 JP so that 40 across all maps during the time it takes me to do them.
Now if you me JP campers that a different story, those guys yea they can die in a fire.
As someone who hates pvp being able to get badges without fighting anyone is nice. I do think objectives should reward them as well though.

Hello jump puzzle “camper” here. First I very much enjoy pvp in the jump puzzle for the following reasons.
Not being able to see ANY enemies during the fights that should be the most fun. Those fights basically only being defending/attacking the keep lord in SMC and the keeps/garrison in the borderlands.
Staring at Doors got old real fast.
It’s small scale pvp.
Killing people by knocking them off cliffs and dying myself by charging/dodging/heartseeking off of cliffs is always hilarious.
Then of course the whispers that make great material for verbal abuse reports.
Until they put in a reason to take keeps (and be able to see all the enemies when the door is busted down) I’m not going to participate in that aspect of WvWvW unless the jump puzzle is empty.
do not remove the jp’s, they are fine, listen not to these cb’s for i know not why they cry…
as an avid wvw player i get 75% of badges from killing people/guards, the rest are from all 4 jp’s
i havent done any JP but if its like that,shure remove it from WwW

the jumping puzzles in WvW borderlands and eternal battlegrounds are all good, fine, working as intended.
please do not fix what is not broken.

I know you won’t remove JP, but at least give its rewards also from capturing and defending towers.
Maybe it’s OK for blueprints, but JP SHOULDNOT give more badges than capturing and defending towers.
Most people (including me) do it just for badges, not because they like it. JP takes the men power in WvW fights.
Keep them in, keep the rewards and make it a capture point, everyone is happy then and you actually have to work for the siege and badges!
Jumping puzzles are something different, keep them in, if you do not like them do not do them.
I want to say the eternal JP should be instanced like the madking’s clock tower, resetting every 20-30 minutes to give that ‘rush to the top while messing up other people’ but prevents people from sitting at the top of the puzzle all day.
Say the first person to reach the top starts the timer, 5 minutes left to get to the top.

That’s your own blasted fault. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Nobody is requiring you to get piles of badges.
