Remove monsters from WvW
Monsters serve a critical role in providing camouflage cover & target distraction for roamers/small havoc groups traveling in enemy territory…imho

They’re nice for necros to generate life force or druids astral force. It’s also nice aesthetically to think we’re fighting over land people live on. Why would we be fighting over a desolate place?
I just dont want them to be able to contest objective (except those frog/dredge/ogres which come to camp)

There are people that would prefer for a WvW map a big, perfectly flat land without textures, just a waypoint for each server. Don’t mind them.
This is a non-issue. The monsters are fine…
Sure, occasionally my rush will end up being directed towards a monster instead of theach zerg I am following but it’s such a minor things.
I also like the idea that it’s a environment factor that can put you or enemies into combat which changes your run/regeneration and what not. Good for roam /havoc
I would prefer them to remain. Strategically placed monsters or ambient creatures are used to teleport with skills like JI or Guardian sword 2. It offers mobility to classes like this where there would be none and mobility on WvW is everything.

I don’t know about removed. But there definitely could be changes made for the better. As mentioned above, ambient-creatures-only would be welcomed imho, since mobs in general offer a lot of strategic value for teleports/target-dependent skills and the likes (as mentioned above the above).
I’d really just like to see the Ascalonians around blue keep thinned out, though. There are just so many there (and dealing AoE ranged damage) that running out of the keep is an excessive hassle in low-mobility builds when on time-critical things.

As long they keep the grub, they can do whatever they want with the mobs… Oh and the veteran for dailies. I need a easy daily for when there is keep capturer…
