I’ve already seen some complaints about “Nightcapping” in WvW but I just wanted to tell my point of view aswell.

When I logged in this morning (Desolation server) I saw that Vizunah Square (FR) took over 90% of the Borderlands during the night. I’ve been trying to get my 100% World Completion for over a week, and I still didn’t get the opportunity to achieve this title because our server just can’t handle the other servers preasure in WvW.

So my suggestion is, don’t make all the POIs, Vistas and SPs count towards the World Completion, because it’s nearly impossible to get your title the way it is now. (Except for the people on Vizunah Square).

WvW currently isn’t motivating me at all because I know that all the hours I will spend on it are useless/ineffective.

Got mine during the 1 day because it rotated colours.

Organise a group, Take back the map. get your completion. Thats how others do it.

You can also transfer to the world in control of the keeps/towers you need to get 100% map completion, since transfering is free and instantaneous at moment.

Nope, instant xfers, back and forth, to and fro, atm. I think that should have been changed once they started a 7 day rotation.

This is still a problem, I would agree, because after the free instant transfer period expires it will be a problem for people.

That said, however, the game hasn’t even been out for a month and people have rushed to map completion….. that to me smells rotten (and no I don’t mean unethical, I just mean it’s asking for a nerf to an achievement which is made over a lifetime, but which you haven’t been able to complete in a month… craziness).

An achievement of a certain magnitude (say, full world completion) shouldn’t be done “easily” in less than a month, in my opinion.

Foresight has not been a strong point of Anet thus far. I remember in beta there being a thread specifically saying why they cannot allow server transfers like this. Numerous people laid out the reasoning as to why. They did it anyway and here we are.

Why do you need to have your completion done right now? If my team cant take the buildings I need, well then I will wait till we either can, or there is a rotation in colors and I will grab them then. Waiting wont kill you.
