Repaires in Wvwvw
Repairs doesn’t usually bother me in wvw. By the time I leave I usually made more money than what I spent on repairs.
Level to 80, don’t wear blues, and you won’t die so much
Despite the scaling, you’re still at a not insignificant disadvantage being a lower level with inferior gear.
That’s why I am broke all the time.
I must agree, repair costs in WvW, coupled with the generally low income of attacking (unless you’re just going for supply bases, which works well with two or more friends) means that it can be hard to turn a profit, especially compared to PvE where death is entirely avoidable.
I’ve noticed some people alt-f4 before being finished in order to avoid the damage from being player killed.
A simple solution seems to be just to remove armor damage from player kills.
I personally still make well over a gold per WvW event. Repairs don’t really affect my profits. Some nights I also make 40k+ karma throughout the course of the night.

yes its bad. the only way to not go slowly broke is going for the karma train. if you do something that makes sense like guarding or upgrading a keep / dolyak you only lose money. i manage to keep around half a gold since i stopped buying any sieges or upgrades and join the karma train when needed.
my suggestion for change would be siege engines and tower upgrades for karma instead of money.

this bothers me and i use full exotics i think they should lower it or increase player kill rewards not just give a bag with some junk in.
