Reporting Hackers
No best way is to add a GM to your friends list, and then hope the GM is online whilst the player is hacking. then PM the GM to let them know.
The best way to report speedhackers or wall-hackers is still to report them as bots, right? I think I’ve reported the same mesmer 3 times in the past week, but I still see him around. Is this the right way to report or should I choose a different option?
Correct, report as a bot.
Keep reporting.
Reporting doesn’t work, Ive reported hackers by right click and send video proof by email to anet and they still never get banned, even after recording the same player hack multiple times.

Up until recently, a GM would need to catch a hacker in action to ban them. However I think they have been considering their official stance to allow video evidence. Several players have been banned from videos as of late.

Apparently you are not supposed to report them frequently either, or else you are at vault for abusing the reporting system.
I have always wondered why there was no “hacking/exploiting” report option, since that is distinguishable from “botting”.
Someone listed one of the GMs that you’re apparently supposed to mail about hackers (I have no idea where this is officially stated) in this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/Speed-hack-becoming-a-problem/first#post4854372. So you could perhaps try mailing that person with every instance of hacking you see.
and if you dont abuse the report system nothing ever changes. Bent if you do, Bent if you dont. some of us wont take the bs, and thus we make it an issue.
