Any chance we can see some of these implemented. They could be a lot of fun to provide alternate siege mechanics.
All of these would be usable like Stealth and Supply traps
1. Deployable Barricade – Destroyable
2. Bear Trap – Temporarily stuns or slows opponents with light damage or bleeding
3. Explosive Trap – causes a 360 knockback and damage when stepped on.
4. Debuff Trap – When stepped on removes boons from surrounding allies. Same radius as supply trap.
This would add some interesting mechanics to WvW using a system that’s already in place. It would just need a bit of physics and attach a model to the Barricades which are already used in other areas of GW2.
The barricades are interesting. However you’d get as many as possible behind gates and around breakable walls. Also what kind of decay timer would these have since they cant really be used by players like a siege weapon can?
Explosive trap near ledges say north towers to alpine could be highly amusing.
I dont see this making the cut, but it would be amusing to have these.

3x hp of omega
Similar damage #1 skill
2nd skill does wall damage only, 2 hits to destroy paper wall
Can only be deployed outside of a keep you control

That bear trap would be really good on chokepoints. The barricade could be really useful but would need to be limited in how many can be placed.
