Hi,
I saw it few time, when we trying take an enemy keep and lord was down, enemy ress him quickly, so quickly.
So maybe is a new things and i miss it or is a bug, but i think its too much heals for ressing.

The lords’ maximum health scales according to number of nearby enemy players. If you have a full zone blob visiting, the lord has millions of health.

Reviving works on percentages of max health:

  • Reviving a defeated target gives 1% of total health every 0.2 seconds, for a total of 5% per second. It takes 20 seconds to revive a defeated target.

Yea, i know that he scaling, but imagine that u trying take T3 keep over 30minutes of fights and almost have it, and now some thiefs in stealth came and ress him instatly in 2 seconds. Even you alone ressing one some friends more than maybe 10 sec.

There is a limit of 5 revivers at the same time. Each reviving 5% per second, the lord is back on his feet in 4 seconds.

It can happen, but more seasoned players tend to put AoE on the corpse which will put any thieves in combat thus unable to revive.

It’s a fair trade when you consider how organized groups abuse the high health pool to load the lord up with condi’s and then 1 shot people with a ridiculous epi.

Imagine?

Thats what WvW once was. We used to have 2-3 hours long 3-way fights over completely broken down garrisons. Zerg vs zerg vs lord then a yolo warrior ran in and bannered the downed lord and the fight continued. It was fun and it was insane. Some fights the lord went down 50 times. It was those moments that led to actual real life battlefatigue, lol. Add entire zergs waypointing in between contests for defense on top of that.

But then Anet gutted WvW. All the nerfs has made it a shadow of its former glory.

On CD we still have 2 or 3-way SMC lord fights that last >1 hour. It’s probably the most fun to be had in WvW (not to mention an excellent bag farm).

#1. If none of a map blob of players can put AoE rings on the lord, you deserve him to get ninja-rezzed.

#2. Rezzing the lord was always a fun and important part of WvW. The game suffered greatly when the developers (in their wisdom -!) removed banner-rezzing the lord. The epic battles from those times are looked back on with great affection by those who were involved.

(Dawdler.8521 is right – waypointing in zergs only added to the fun)

Nobody at Anet loves WvW like Grouch loved PvP. That’s what we need, a WvW Grouch, but taller.
