Guild Wars 2

Hey all, I haven’t played in about 6 months, plan on joining back up and playing again. I noticed that my server is a complete ghost town, so I am looking to join a populated server that has some active WvW. I am in NA/EST, and I usually play 10pm-4am. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If your looking for Tier 1 (top 3 servers) Go JQ. They are currently rebuilding and are a great server! If your not looking to join a tier 1 server, try any of the lower ones. TC/DB/FA/SoS/CD just to name a few. Generally the lower the server, lower the population but thats mainly for WvW. With guesting PvE doesn’t matter what server your on.

I still got a few hours before I get off work to decide. But I am mainly looking for a healthy WvW pop server. Any recommendations Ostra?

I can’t speak for JQ but the only time BG has anything close to a 2 hour queue is the first 4 hours after reset. After that you will only find 1 or 2 maps with a queue 15 minutes max. Considering JQ has a lower WvW population then BG I would guess that they have even less of a issue with queues. Spread your lies elsewhere.

Hmm.. should I believe the 50 people that just left T1 servers for a lower tier server… or some internet guy defending his T1 server???

Let me think about this for awhile….. nevermind. Im gonna jump into WvW whenever I want and be able to PLAY the game.

Some internet guy? Like your creditable because you say you know 50 people that left a T1 server? You jump into WvW when ever you want while the rest of you server complains about match ups because you don’t have coverage…I’m sure if your server has EU or SEA guilds I bet the love that PvD, dem doors are hardcore…

Also I know 51 people on lower servers that say that T1 is the bestest…See I can say random things to…doesn’t make it true

You must be living in the past? The last time I ever seen 2 hours queue was 2012…. Many guilds quit the game or gone unofficial. Maybe I’m just lucky that I can still use that 1 second queue to shortcut my way to Lion’s Arch. I like to travel for cheap…

Every server from 1st to ~12th place has an active NA presence.

But you know, the safe best is to just head to one of the top four.

You my good sir, have just been duped.

Any T1-3 WvW player who tells you the waiting time and unplayable lag is good is simply lying to you. There are multiple posts stating players NOT to go to these servers because they are literally breaking. Its a total waste of time as well as those tiers being full of bandwagon fan boys who don’t actually know how to play the game. You know who you guys are, cough, Zikory. JQ’s fair weather players aren’t showing up because they aren’t insta winning against Blackgate (what happens when you fill a server full of disloyal bandies).

Go to mid tier/mid low tier, (just not the lowest, they are bin servers).
Currently Northern Shiverpeaks, Devonas Rest, Henge of Denravi are facing the closest scoring matchups in NA. We’re literally clawing at each others throats for the points.

And next to zero queues except reset, with steady populations on all servers + no skill lag even for me here in Ireland!
DR and HoD have a more spread population with a larger night/oceanic presence while Northern Shiverpeaks is mainly clumped around EST primetime.

Top 2 tiers, queues and skill lag with heavy coverage and many guilds. tiers 3-5 good fights and lotta guild groups running in 20-40 man groups along with still zergs, some decent roaming, tier 6/7 more small man action and roaming with the occasional skill group and smaller zergs, but much less organized overall. Tier 8 likely avoid imo

I was on T1. I was roaming and killing things back on JQ in WvW since level 10 my friend. I was there for months, you wanna know what? Sitting in queue for a game is not fun. You can find it fun so you can then beat your chest and say “Look ma I am on a winning server!” but me… yeah I would rather be on a server that losses but I rarely sit in queue. Even mid tier from time to time we hit a queue of 15 minutes. So dont sit there and tell me a server that has 3 times the numbers that mine does… doesnt have a queue. That is blatent fibbing to these returning players…

stacking for the win right? How about we all try and get the servers WvW population to balance out a little more and then we can all have fun….

or does that mean you would have to work for your wins instead of stacking the server numbers in your favor? Ohh nvm I dont have time to argue on the forums… I can go play WvW anytime I want
