Revive hack? Or am I missing something?
Did he kill an animal nearby to rally?
It could happen if you were fighting someone and say they ran away. Then when you were fighting another person, you could rally from the earlier person if they died when you got downed.
So that’s probably what happened. The thief was fighting someone and either the thief ran away or the other person ran away. Then he got rallied from said persons death largely in part to the fact he was downed for quite a bit of time.
New Namek [Kami]
Guardian/Ele/Warrior/Engi/Mes/Necro/Ranger
He probably leveled.
He had been sitting in the camp for quite some time before we struck, maybe a whole minute. So, it is very unlikely that he would have rallied or levelled at that moment, but possible, I suppose.
Supposedly, there is a revive hack in a cheat program, but it seems more likely that some Skale got killed by his bouncy daggers outside your immediate view.

This. Its saved my thief more times than I can count. The Golanta area in EB is especially good for it with all the mosquitos and other little vermin all over the place.

Yes. Mystery solved. It’s pretty easy to rally this way. Even if your team killed an NPC, as long as he tagged it, he will rally.

It is awesome when u rez like 4 or 5 times facing a group of 10+, problem is after those 5 times yo will be w/o downned system :P

While playign thief or necro i used to tag mobs first before entering combat, sometimes worked sometimes mobs didnt get killed .

Yeah, he probably killed one of the chickens clucking around the supply camps. Kittening chickens. Kittening wildlife. Take it all out. Or make it not able to be killed.
I was the other guy, I was at the camp first, waited about 30 seconds for my guildy to catch up..we watched for a min to see if he had friends coming, then stealthed, then double backstabbed him. He dropped with that and 1 more attack. I stealthed us while he went for a finish. He teleported which is fine, then immediately after teleporting he popped up at full health. Now if he rallied from a kill (and there is nothing at all in this camp to rally from or even near the camp) that’s fine but how was he instantly at full health? Im not one of those guys that pays to much attention to the details but Im pretty sure that you don’t rally to full. And the chances of someone killing something or him getting credit for something at exactly that time, and being close enough to level from that is close to an improbability, no? There are a quite a few people running hacks in the game, I’m pretty sure this was one. I admire players that outmatch me, which happens fairly often seeing as Im not a hardcore gamer. But this was not one of those times.

If he popped up at full health then it is most likely he leveled. Which is quite annoying and has happened against me lots of times. You are lucky you weren’t right next to him or you would have been blown a mile away too..
Stomping someone only to have them level up right as my banner is being placed into their skull has actually happened quite a few times.
Also, if they were tagging people earlier who ended up living and just so happened to die right when you were stomping them can res them.
I’ve seen tons of cheaters in this game but as far as I’m aware the only type of cheating that can be done is movement. There are no cheats that allow you to alter health, damage, or anything else like that because that’s all server side. Movement is the only one that can be exploited. Otherwise we would be seeing thieves dealing 100,000 damage per backstab or doing machine gun headshots with infinite initiative.
That being said, once my buddies and I downed 3 enemies and stomped them. Their bodies were laying dead on the ground. We stood there just chatting about the fight then all of a sudden all 3 enemies res each other from full death. No one stealth rezzed them either. I don’t know what to think about that.

This is far more likely a rally as others have stated than a cheat.
“Youre lips are movin and youre complaining about something thats wingeing.”
A few days ago I took down a thief outside a tower we were in the process of taking over. As I went to finish him off we took the tower and he suddenly popped to full health and made the “I leveled” animation/sound. I can only assume when we took the tower the “failed to defend tower” popped for him but gave him enough xp to level. Funny. But so annoying. I wanted my loot bag. lol
Straight Outta Kryta [KRTA]
I fart in your general direction
maybe he got an event credit from across the map and leveled
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions

If he cheat, he will just disappear when his health is low.
Ayumu-lvl 80 Necromancer
Tsu-lvl 80 thief
He lvled. Seen it happen as well and it’s happened to me too.
You can’t rally off wildlife. Rally doesn’t give full health. No hack I’ve ever seen that rallies.
A tower, keep, camp, dolyak was taken/lost that gave the exp.
LoL..downed system. Anet figured a way to reward baddies.

this…a cheater wouldn’t have been downed in the first place.
Wu Táng Financial [Táng] – YB
When you level it causes a huge blowback to enemies around. I think that’s still the case in WvW, so it should be noticeable to you if you are on top of the guy.
he probably lvled eiterh to using his daily chest to lvl up or he lvled because he got the defend the camp event.. no way that tehre is such a hack
we don tknow what class threadstarter uses .. maybe he had stability or aegis to block the knockback
How many Dzagonurs and Gunnars do you need to kill me? Over 9000!!

What?… That’s a visual effect and only for your team.

lol no it’s not.. It’s an aoe blowback effect, I’ve had it happen to me many times, and also been on the giving end of it.
Interesting I never noticed that.
