At Ring of Fire, we are currently looking for other World vs World guilds to join the up and coming Alliance which has seen us steadily rise in the rankings. Ring of fire’s alliance consists of a strong core of 8 guilds who are dedicated to Ring Of Fire. So you can be assured you are joining a strong alliance whose only goal is to see Ring of Fire succeed.

The players that make up these guilds have excellent coordination thanks to the use of a shared alliance Teamspeak, allowing us to communicate and work together as a unit. There is a weekly alliance meeting to discuss the strategy for the week ahead and how best to utilize our resources. Our tight-knit community enables us to battle with the enemy more efficiently and come out on top and we’d like to welcome other World vs World guilds to take part in all of this.

All the guilds that make up the alliance started in Ring of Fire, to fight for Ring of Fire, so you can be assured you are joining an alliance that is dedicated to Ring of Fire.

We understand numbers play an important part in a server rising the ranks, with our already organised numbers, the joining guilds would give us the final push to see us enter the next tier. They would be made very welcome and become part of the Ring of Fire family.

Nice post, but I think you may have a problem with at least one guild in your list that is looking for another server in another htread here :-P

Not really, we have discussed the NP situation prior to them posting their topic in an alliance meeting. As they are looking at their options they are currently still on Rof and are still part of our alliance.

we are yet to leave RoF and are therfore still part of the alliance and will be leaving on good terms if that is what we decide to do

Weird, as from a PvE perspective they would appear to be the largest guild on the server.

The alliance was created and formed by guilds interested in WvW which is a form of PvP not PvE, so please do not be offended if you were not approached LOVE. That being said, any guild in ROF which plays a part in WvW no matter how small is more than welcome to join the alliance and share their opinion on upcoming WvW fixtures / tactics etc.

I would like to emphasize and add some reasons to choose Ring of Fire over a different server!

Unlike most other servers, Ring of Fire has never been the “victim” of mass transfers.
All the wvw guilds part of the alliance have been here since the beginning and sticked with RoF through the bad and the good times. (aww, cheesy mode)

We have seen our server both gain and loose in ranks and were able to take pride in every victory since it was always our achievement alone and often against the odds!

We haven’t jumped on the mass recruitment train in the past, because we wanted to keep our community stable but with free transfers being shut down soon, I guess its time to get some addition to the family.

We still have all the space a guild would need to actually make a difference, while offering the already mentioned stable community to back you up!

Flaunz, exactly my words. Small RoF guild, I am in, was from beginning on RoF. Now on our forums, there were some questions about transfer.
Response from guild leaders was simple: Why? Dont you play for fun? Dont you have fun? Yes we are not first, but we try. And the comunity on RoF is here from beginning.
There was no big transfer to RoF I am aware. Some guilds left RoF. Yes. Let them go. They dont play for joy, or fun from games. They even dont enjoy playing this game. They only like to see their name on top of leaderboard. If it means playin 24/7, no RL and no fun.
There is time on RoF, that I thought that some better organisation, would be usefull. But there are more times,I am proud on RoF players, because they dont let it go.
Look today on map of borderlands. All green GH, exept some blue parts. Us. It looks like WSR just left 3W because of massive GH zergs.
But we still play and we try. And this is what i like at RoF, and this is why our small guild wont leave RoF.

We won’t ever let Ring of Fire become some “unofficial PVE server” – quite the opposite actually

I for one am happy to be a part of the RoF community. I’m always having fun with the people who are in it and will stay a proud member of RoF.

Actually i still hope NP will change their minds
But i can promise you RoF, Skinny and her guild Veterans of Lions Arch[LA] will stay on RoF – i love the community over there since day one.
I’ll be back in WvW when i get my health issues sorted… :/

Anyway, i’d welcome a few more small to mid-size guilds to RoF to ensure WvW will be fun in future.

screen1: Once more NP/ICON saved the day
screen2: Golem fun in EB
screen3: Fighting the Grub half an hour before reset together with UW
screen4: ICON: “We want to have our guild meeting an hour before reset in SM, so lets cap it!” it ended up in a lot of portal bombs and enemy wipes by us – we didnt even try to repair the gates “keep em coming!” – lot of fun and loot bags in that hour…

Although I understand why your alliance declined to speak to the Underworld alliance about moving to a larger alliance I imagine we will be stuck fighting each other for a very long time after next week :P

If we get stuck I will probably start a wvw dueling club if your alliance is interesting in some organised fights between servers.

I would like that Phoenix we could like make a big cirkle and do 1v1’s and also ofcourse GvG would be awesome to have the change because if we both end up against RoS we gonna need the fun to boost morale

Just to mention, LOVE United [LOVE] were actually approached whilst on one of our WvW guild events but we respectfully declined because as our good friend Commander Hawkaii (Monkeybullet) stated, the alliance itself is mainly focused on WvW and we felt that since our guild is filled by a majority of PvE players it wasn’t appropriate to join the alliance at this time.

We do however fully support the alliance and all it is trying to achieve. LOVE United supports Ring of Fire’s WvW efforts where we can, we currently hold two WvW events each week where the majority of our guild join in the fun!

Look forward to fighting alongside those in the Alliance and those thinking of joining us on Ring of Fire and of course those looking to have some fun fighting against us

Sounds fine with me, shame you guys will me moving up to a tier where dueling is impossible :/

I guess thats a perk of lower tiers, you have enough empty space to actually be creative, the higher you go the more likely a random group of idiots will kill all of your dueling players

I have the largest guild on underworld and we have… 16?+ alliance guilds, at least 5 are close to mines size :P

your server doesn’t have the space for even half of us ha would be impossible for us to move :O

We don’t need a theme, we have a charge and even footage of an epic charge I led against a charr horde to free the polar bear nords enslaved by the cruel FS zerg.

Notice the leopards, we have like a billion rangers.

Exchange the PvE by PvP and we got ourselves another recipe!

We know where to put those trebs and park those golems, you know how to stomp those hordes of underworld rangers with their leopards most efficiently!

RoF is a nice WvW server, and the guilds listed above are the biggest ones but no the only ones.
Some small/medium guilds (like mine) are not in the alliance, for various reasons. (After all we are Shadows In The Warp ;P ), but held regular events etc…
Why i say that? To let you guys know RoF has more than just big guilds.

I know that and I am still convinced that if I had 2 or 3 new small guilds of 50 or more on underworld we would be able to slaughter ranik :P

Anyway I came here to organised some GvG sometime this next week is there a time where you don’t have any alliance events? hopefully one of your days won’t clash with one of the 5 underworld alliance wvw nights so we can organise some Guild vs guild :/

Thank you all for your responses, We have grown since we posted this and we welcome more, RoF is a strong server and alot strong. We are a strong server that know that with the numbers and skills we can use to our their best potential we will be able to see alot of victory in our future. The alliance has never been stronger!

I’ll be discussing with guildleader … very small guild (10 people) where 2 are enjoying WvWvW alot.
Would be fun to join up the battlements, atm we capture sentries or supply camps

Indeed we are a VERY small guild, 9 active players, and at best we have 3 or 4 members prowling about in RoF Borderlands recapturing camps and sentries, upgrading towers and joining in battles when just solo or duo playing.
We very much would like to be more commited to the cause and will be working on getting more of our pve players (well, the “other 5” that is) into WvW !

Probably a bump, but still. We from [OATH] are a small guild but run around in WvW often with you guys. Hope that we’ll be able to help the alliance with our guild. Cheers

We are still in RoF but we will no longer be a part of it’s alliance, we have however have an other group set up with guilds who are working together

Yes it was, but i will keep the details within RoF but i just wanted to let the WvW scene know that we don’t want to be associated any more with that particular alliance.
