Guild Wars 2

So as the title suggests RoF is desperate for some more WvW focused guilds to join us. We already have a few hard-core well set up guilds in the form of ICON, HxH and a few others (apologise as I’m not 100% on abbreviations so don’t want to get them wrong). We have an alliances TS server set up that is used constantly whilst were online. We feel (ICON) that our only down fall and reason for being low in the rankings is lack of numbers 24/7. Last week and this week when we actually have the numbers online (icons mainly active from around 8pm GMT to 4am GMT) we stand up well and actually have some fantastic battles with the servers. And I’m sure Whiteside Dazagor and Underworld would all agree with this. That being said once we log off the numbers just aren’t great enough to contend with the other servers and the points start to drop and the lead extends. So to summarise we need an influx of some hard-core WvW guild to help us maintain the gain and organisation we’ve started. There’s very little queue even during peak times on any of the BL’s and we already have some nice organisation set up. Good fights? What are you talking about? I haven´t seen any good fights .. only impressive once ..
.. anyhow, you´re good as you are now .. after all .. you haven´t lost Garrison, since Reset, which can´t be told about your opponents.

I really liked fighting whiteside and the guild [WvW] xD

We really could use some talented and well meaning guilds for our server I hope people reading this thread take Ring of fire into consideration.

Remember, due to RoF low WvW numbers there is a zero wait time queue to get in…

We haven’t lost our garrison because ICON is THE WvW guild in Ring of Fire. Whilst its a pleasure owning and commanding the largest pure WvW guild on Ring of Fire, its still quite upsetting that when we muster a small zerg 50% randoms 50% ICON, we have to keep hopping between worlds to oppose say 2 large Underworld zergs.

So not only do you have twice the numbers you always have a big zerg covering 24/7 which we cannot match. IE we need more members not only in ICON, but on Ring of Fire EU server.

UW “nightshift” consists of 8ppl ..
.. and all of them once studied in Europe, so .. they are here mostly cos of friends – so not a “true” WvW players .. and to the topic of “pure WvW guilds” .. well .. hmm .. don´t think we have one.

no dedicated WvW guilds on UW? u serial? i havent been online once without seeing atleast a 15 man AA zerg running around. and no good fights? what about when ICON single handadly took all 3 of youre fully fortified keeps in an hour? against an even numbered zerg purely by being smart and using some pretty impressive tactics (respect to hawk and chris for thinking on their feet as we nearly got wiped at bay twice)

First of all, read what I wrote .. twas a compliment not an insult .. second of all AA is a PvX guild .. half of them are only PvE players – so as a guild, they can´t be considered purely WvW.
Third .. heh .. I don´t want to insult UW server .. but let´s just say, that it was expected .. and plainly to be seen .. for those, who cared to take a look on the map. But indeed .. at that moment you took the initiative & fought your way to triumph.

wasnt being insulting either and i didnt know that about AA just seen them around alot lol. UW ganking our BL on the reset was the most suprised id been in a while worked very well

We could use some help during the times posted here, also note that ICON and HxH aren’t the only guilds doing their part in WvW…

in no way are we the only guilds there are a few others aswell i just couldnt remember everyones tag so didnt want to insult anyone by getting it wrong
