Q:

With the new specializations out, the core mechanics won’t change even if some of the numbers might. I thought this would be a good time to get opinions on a decent roamer build/profession.

It seems conditions will be meta again for the foreseeable future, so a decent cleanse/condition removal is necessary. I actually like playing Thief and was thinking of going P/P and D/P Deadeye, but I worry about my survibility. Or I was thinking Mirage (I dislike playing Chrono), but it just seems overall a worse version of Chrono. Scourge is an option, though right now Reaper seems to be a better roamer, or even core Necro. Soulbeast is another one I’m excited about, but the mechanic feels very clunky and undertuned.

Suggestions guys?

A:

Spellbreaker if it doesn’t get nerfed before release is extremely strong. Resistance uptime is very high, can copy condi stacks to multiple targets, strips boons making DH a nuisance at best, super tanky and dishes out a strong stream of constant damage.

Most Dire Dare Devil condi builds are still strong and have the best mobility.

4 man groups probably won’t change too much. Tempest + Condi Necro + DH + Another Necro/DH or Rev is still going to wreck pretty much everything. Nothing this weekend made me think PoF is going to bring much new to that table. Maybe the new Necro variant but otherwise same bunker, cleansing, grind em down and blow em up setup.
