Rock Paper Cannon ?
WvW is not balanced for small man combat at all, and I don’t know why you expected it to be with things like 40% condition duration and perplex.
really bad engineer
You have smale group combat in wvw, and yes you dont have that much of build like gw1 was.
I loved playing ranger in gw1 but in gw2, I want a reroll for a other 80 class…

Jon Peters & Co. wants you to leave WvW in favor of eSports, that’s why you will never see any resemblance of balance here.

am I the only one that feels GW1 was much more balanced between characters, than gw 2 ?
which is ironic since gw2 has much less choices of builds than gw1
while there’s less overall ‘choices’.. how many concurrent viable builds were there?
gw1 had way more builds but it also had way more junk builds.. the total number of builds active in either meta is not that different. (3-4 fotm, 2-3 others on the rise or dropping out)
(edit: with regards to pvp, since there’s nothing in gw1 to compare to the wvw meta)

Well once I accepted this that this is not balanced and just played wvw I enjoy myself more. There is almost no honour in wvw, just kills. 2 against 1, fine, 5-1 better, but 20-1 is best.
I think GW1 was much much much less balanced between characters. But also, GW1 was never intended to be 1v1 so this was never an issue.
