Dear Anet, as so many people have stated,

-every week, winner of each group randomize within themselves and fight.
-2nd place randomize within themselves , 3rd place same.

also, in the last week of the month, the corresponding ranking servers from NA and EU could duke it out.

this method will breathe much needed fresh air into an otherwise stagnant and bad wvw ranking.

NA vs EU wouldn’t work out well, higher tier NA mostly has round the clock coverage, which the EU servers dont have (not even the top tiers), and the lower tiers would jsut kinda zoom past each other in pvd’ing during their respective primetimes

Are you serious? T3 and up EU have very good coverage. But you are right about if the lower tiers met.

Top NA servers have guilds spread across many timezones (Mainly Oceanic, SEA, very few eu and NA obviously)

Top EU servers only really have 1 timezone coverage- (unless they have a load of russian guilds) -(Elona Reach, Viz) and so have to make up for that by staying up late and even then the numbers staying up to make up for that coverage loss wouldn’t be able to compete with the constant barrage of different time zone guilds NA servers have.

I honestly don’t think a top EU server, especially the single language ones like elona or viz would win against an NA server.

“Very good coverage” for European standards, in comparison to the American high tier though there is nothing.
All the EU higher tiers have are Russians, Vizunah has a consistent 30man nightteam which hops maps, and that’s the coverage of the nr 1 EU server.
I’m pretty sure a 30man night team would not hold up against full borders.

well in that case, make it a mega battle where all the EU servers are condensed into 1 server to fight all the NA server for the last week of the month as a special.

of course to deal with the exceeding numbers, you can have overflow servers lol

There would be a severe number imbalance during every timezone’s primetime – no NA EU primetime coverage could beat the combined forces of the EU servers, no EU nighttime team could do anything against the wave of NA.

If Gw2 was a WvWvW focused game in Anet’s mind, sure.
Alas it isn’t, and this will not change any time soon.
