When I found out DAoC’s RvR inspirsed WvW I had a smile! Its one reason I love this game so much. It reminds me of my days in DAoC.

I have a few questions though…

1. Why did Anet change the WvW reset to 6:20ish pm PST?

2. Why doesn’t Anet improve the Rank and Abilities and Add more to the Rank and abilities?

Taking this idea from DAoC but:

Why not add option for some players who gain WvW rank to get things such as:

10% movement speed. (Max)
10% more damage to players (Max)
10% more critical chance (Max)
10% less damage from players (Max)

you know… things like this that could benefit players that could work in PvE as well.

Added to this, why not add a NEW sort of mini side hot bar that gives you new racial abilities that you can spend points in.

This could be a racial ability OR a server ability of some sort. Example:

After spending XX amount of points into this ability the player can activate (insert boon here) for XX amount of time

After spending XX amount of points into this ability the player can active swiftness and pulse the ability as long as they stay out of combat. And this could also be applied to PvE.

3. Is it a bug or lag to where sometimes I cannot use any of my skills while fighting in a zerg? I can only auto attack which is lameeeee.

Hi OP,

1. Any change will make some people happy and some not. I guess this change makes more people happy.

2. Good idea, I like it :P This will also encourage people WvW since the bonus will also boost your pve efficiency such as dungeons (10 min now instead of 15 min for cof p1 XD)

3. It’s just lag happening to any internet game. Dragon events have it too.

So yes plz consider point 2 :P

I’m sure they’ve got a bucket full of ideas, not that more are bad…
But I’m gonna be sure to pop into any suggestions thread wheedling for a map pack till it’s here
Sell us some maps Arenanet! Charge admission, whatever it takes. You put a guy on it full time and see if we don’t pay his wage. Don’t gotta be pretty, don’t need jump puzzles or vistas. Don’t even gotta be balanced. WTB shifting BL’s

what is “inspirsed”?

I’m very much against number 2. The point was that anyone that was level 80 and had exotics (both things that are easy to accomplish) was on the same playing field as everyone else. There is no grind to be better than other players now. They have kind of added that with the ranks but most of those things were so useless it never mattered but now with the arrowcart rank abilities it does. Having 75 points in Arrowcarts makes you a lot stronger than a person who just joined WvW. I don’t think that that is a step in the right direction.

1: Because that was when the most amount of people could play I suppose.

2: No. The ranks are not supposed to give people an advantage is direct fights against other players.

3: Lag.
