Now that rewards are out to anyone who transferred because of leagues was it worth it?
Because I find the whole situation funny.

It was worth it because I didn’t have to deal with a non-WvW server anymore.

I find it sad… that’s an awful reward for the effort put into season 1, just awful.

It’s quite funny. I mean, the final standings of the WvW leagues are simply a representation of each server’s coverage and not a lot else. So it was kind of pointless to create much of a gap between first and last place rewards. You still get a special finisher for being on the most stacked server with the greatest WvW population though. Lucky you

I’ll give you that. IoJ was pretty darn bad though.

It’s good for WvW. Less incentive for people to stack winning servers.

Well done to Anet for Duping people into spending gems to stack on servers, and getting people to put in all that effort to win that season “reward”.

Since you don’t get reward if you transfer mid-season anyway and the winner for gold/silver NA league was uncertain before league started, I am not sure if the poor reward is relevant anyway…

From waht I have read in other threads, forums, etc. 1st place seem to have a guaranteed exotic and 250 uses finisher. The rest are greens, 1-5 tomes of knowledge, 1-10 scroll of knowledge, 100 dragonite, bloodstone, empyreal, some extra wxp (maybe enough for 1 rank) The dolyak mini and 500 luck.

DIdn’t transfer since no point with it tying my reward to the server I started on.

Randomly where is the chest? Or is just bonus chest when leveling up, I have the key but didn’t see any obvious chest anywhere and nothing in game is directing me.

I am glad the rewards are like this, I ended up benefiting more by staying on my under populated server and running around with outmanned 24/7. Being on a server with more people shouldn’t warrant better rewards

…Nope thats just your tinfoil hat. ANet devs said FLAT OUT that you shouldnt transfer and bandwagon to the top servers for this.

Well, I guess everyone didn’t get the memo.
Why did they have that “Preseason Sale” before Season One?

Maybe “duped” is the wrong word to describe things, but they “enticed” people to transfer.
Naturally there were people that moved to the servers with the greater chance of those higher ranked rewards, the wise moved to the other servers due to the queue times, or for another challenge.

As has been said in the other thread everyone who completed the achievement should have got a substantial reward given the time investment, with the top servers receiving a cosmetic reward over and above that.
