This is an open request to ANET to recognize the peculiar circumstances such as that of the Sanctum of Rall. SOR’s high ratings despite it’s recent WvW troubles has caused unforseen consequences not just for the SOR community but also for Tier 3 overall and threatens the health of Tier 2 and Tier 4.

May we request that the lower pricing for transfers for March 18-27 also take into account the rankings after the March 21 or other resets to give servers such as SOR just a chance to be competitive (in a tier in the near future) but which it never had due to an unintended flaw in the system.

The discount for transfers is supposed to benefit the health of GW2 WvW as a whole and it would be in the spirit of that purpose to allow for more easier transfers for more servers.

They won’t do anything because it will create a precedent. What if another server suffers a exodus not quite on the scale of SoR just before the next tournament? Where do they draw the line?

Its sucks but I agree they can’t make exceptions, your not the first server to go through this, maybe during seasons but many of servers suffered much worse while having the same transfer cost as you guys had while in T1. You should be thankful you will not have to go through that because its pretty kitten hard to work your way back up when T1 costs the same as T8.

The hardcore Rallian guilds that went toe to toe with JQ and BG for a glorious year have gone in pursuit of each one’s dreams of how WvW ought to be. SoR has a healthy population of PvE and PvX guilds but no hardcore WvW guild force of credible size to effectively rally the Rallian militia to WvW on a daily basis.

The effect on SoR is bad with Rallians running around in EoTM, PvE and other pleasures. The effect on our neighbors is much worse with SBI feeding the Dragon due to 1v1 matchup imbalance. DB has bloated into a karma train dining on SoR’s rating straight into the resentful tier 2 of SoS, Mag and FA which will have their utopian fight club ended as one of them is sent into silver, and which ever tiermates SoR ends up with will likely end up bored like DB and SBI with one empty chair for 2-3 weeks.

If the system worked as intended we would be on rebuild mode with opponents right for our tier and perhaps be in the right bracket for free transfers. I am not now asking that ANET bend the system for us just that they extend a privilege that’s theirs to give to everyone that can also set things right and let the system work as it was intended; to give players the proper match up.
