Guild Wars 2

Over the past coupled of weeks I have observed that Sanctum of Rall is back out there in WvW and yesterday I came on and there were fighting hard. I see a lot of people say that SoR is dead, but lately I have been seeing an influx of people and they are climbing up the tiers. So I say this again SOR is not dead but very active! And is out there competing in WvW! And is a very stable community. Check them out in the forums!

Actually I don’t think you will see too many people talking about how SoR is dead considering it’s been THREE QUARTERS OF A YEAR since they were a T1 server. Not many people talking about their activity level at all.

People will call any server below T2 dead…

I believe that SOR is a great server I even transferred there from a higher pop server cause they are so nice and now since they have a stable wvw community it’s been sooo much fun!! I suggest you guys as well check it out

I honestly forgot that SoR was even a server. Anyway, glad you guys are back out there fighting again, working your way back up the ladder. Would be great to see SoR back in Tier 2; they were the gatekeepers for Tier 1 right up until the day SBI collapsed, & beating SoR back then really showed that your server BELONGED in T1 (that was back when there were 4 real T1 servers). Even in T1 SoR would be a welcome sight; Tarnished Coast honestly never really belonged there, & while JQ has the players and the mindset for T1, they seem to be just sort of hanging in there these days, still in T1 by default, because there simply isn’t any other server to take their place.

Anyway, I’d love to see SoR getting even CLOSE to their glory days in WvW, and no matter what anyone says about any Tier being “dead”, I sincerely hope it isn’t true, because we NEED new servers fighting their way up through the ranks looking to take that top spot! Congrats on your renewed activity and competitive spirit in WvW, SoR~!

SoR does not want to return to T1. With the increased rank and position comes a certain level of elitism that inadvertently caused, which alienates PvXers, casuals, and new players. This happened once before, and the elitist community alienated many others with their bad attitudes and horrible community-building nature. A split was caused, resulting in a fractured community.

Ideally, I think SoR will find its sweet spot around T4ish. Good fights, decent coverage, good PPT basis, room for competitiveness but also a strong community… Without constant queues. We want WvW to be something everyone enjoys… Without it becoming a job for anyone.
