Since HoT and the release of these new Maps. WvW on many servers is now on a downhill slide, with a good amount that was already not doing the best before the new maps. 92% of battles and any sort of fights are on EBG, this is the only place to find large scale fights 90% of the time if not more. Maybe this is a sign that Anet should look at and see that the new maps while may have been a good idea, has failed and has hurt WvW. I highly doubt this was their plan, but it’s time to accept the fact that their idea didn’t work and to fix it, and save WvW and bring it back to its former glory where groups of people actually got out and fought instead of sitting in SMC all day hiding behind siege.

Yes. please, for the time being.

The problem is that EBG have the same issue… New upgrade system, new auro who remove you what you have before (guild upgrade with +5 and other boon, hide behind grind wall, ….).
If I can have the old EBG I will play on this map, but the game is the same broken thing… And I don’t even speak about the ton of new CC and all elite crap…
All WvW is broken… EBG or deserted BL.

bringing back a map won’t save wvw from its problem. its a freaking RvR mode and after 3 years we still don’t have any motivating reward for actually win a match up. 3 years the most rewarding stuff in wvw is still the karma/capture train. and that’s a major problem in the mode. a mode that we the players kept alive cause of good fights and friends.

I am curious how you calculated this? 92% is a very exact figure that I assume is backed up by equally exact statistical data.

i think anet should just make a blogpost of what they are actually working and what they hope for the changes they are working for the overhaul. wvw people with that can give feedback and ideas to save wvw. no words is like slowly bury the dead corpse
