So I did a test today regarding points you get during WvWvW.

I am NOT talking about World Experience for individual players.

I AM talking about WvWvW points towards victory and determining your Realms WvWvW score.

I notice that on the wiki that it indicates that for killing a guard, you score 1 pt for your server.

So I field tested this a couple of times this morning. What did I notice when I killed a Guard in EB? 4 pts instead! Then a Dolyak came by and I got 7 pts added to our server.

So it leads me to suspect one of two things. 1) That three other guards and 6 other dolyaks were all killed at the exact same time, or 2) We get more than just 1 pt for killing Guards and we get even more for killing Dolyaks.

Can someone confirm this for me? If so, it looks like I am going to have fun in my opponents borderlands killing some supply trains for easy points!

We will have to have ANET come up with cold, hard numbers. And until they do that, remember that there are 6 camps in every borderlands, 8 in EB, which makes it a total of 26 camps. That means theoretically 52 live yaks may be moving around at the same time. With the number of people always on the move roaming and hunting them down, individual tests are almost meaningless.

Sounds like I am going to have to do some battery of tests to see what points I can get out.

Also:
Dolyaks are worth more points the further from their camp they are.

So Dolyak points vary a certain degree, because you will earn more points killing them further from the camp they spawned at.
