If there is a Season 2, the final week of matches should not be pre-determined. It should be determined by the standings.
That way you’d have a final week of the most even, best set of matches you could get.
… which doesnt matter if your final place in the league was already long decided by whether you came 1st or 2nd in a matchup in the middle of the league.
