Mistress of Death
Yaksbend | Evil Empire
I am just wondering why anet decided to give such a lack of anything for season 2 . It would be nice to have at least a page with the current results. The living world gets blog posts / custom pages / etc.
WvW just seems to be shafted most of the time.
I don’t know just my opinion
/thoughts?
It’s just not the focus of this company. If you want a game developer that cares about RvR-style gameplay you need to, well, switch games. Just a few days ago one where that is the case released. Others are on the horizon.
I suggest a switch.

Pretty much this. WvW is a trickle-down format. As a WvW player you are likely to see the least amount of new content, features, balance fixes, and just attention in general. Even some of the most basic features like a better commander UI, repeatedly requested from day one, are still missing nearly two years into the game. That tells you something about how few resources are devoted to the format in general.
Switch games, that’s really your best bet. Or, if you don’t want to do that, refrain from spending money to buy gems on the trading post. Vote with your wallet.
I don’t understand why there isn’t a schedule for season 2. It’s not something completely new, they provided a schedule for season 1 where you can see all the servers you’re facing.
It seems like they don’t care about season 2, it’s just an attempt to get people to WvW and not quit to some other game.

I do believe that’s because of the new swiss match up system, so they can’t give a schedule as each new match is based on how the last matches finished. (might be wrong never read how swiss match system worked)

You’re right.
“the matchups are not predetermined but are dependent upon the results of the previous matchups. "

Apparently even when we’re given support, we don’t read it =)
You can’t give the kinda posts about Living Story to WvW. The narrative is made by players and, I’ll be honest, ArenaNet never struck me as knowing the stories of WvW well.

Thank you I had no idea!
