Whats the point in letting servers die ? anyone know if arenanet plans on merging servers to make WvW and the game more enjoyable again i dont really have 60$ to throw away so me and my gf can transfer to another server this is kind of rediculous….

Your ranked #13th you have a very healthy server. You are just matched up against DB this week which is a pretty stacked server (compared to yours).

You are also gaining rating currently, so you are performing better than expected, keep it up.

I’m sure many on your server wont actually want to merge communities with another server.

Perhaps you’ll get a better match next week, some other servers got a bum rap like yours did (Gunnar’s Hold and Arborstone for instance).

keep in mind server population != wvw population. And not even a good indication.

I think the only servers that could be merged is the bottom 6 of EU (consolidate 6 servers to 3 servers)

Unfortunately some of them are language based.

yep, they can merge them into same language where available.
Or just merge the bottom 4 into 1 because they are all same language.

I suggest you join the SBI server website and join us on teamspeak. SBI is competitive, but we just don’t have the numbers we used to have.

SBI has one of the best server communities, but we still haven’t recovered from the mass exodus of WvW guilds several months ago.
