You should make on of the following available for a limited time to help lower tier servers out in population and somewhat balance things out for WvW.

Option 1

Free server transfers to a tier 3 server and lower. End free transfers at 11:59 PM January 1, 2017.

Option 2

50% Off on server transfers to a tier 3 server and lower. End free transfers at 11:59 PM January 1, 2017.

Note: No free or Discounted transfers for Tier 1 and Tier 2 servers.

I know combining lower tier servers together like example " Dragonbrand +Borlis Pass, Kaineng" was needed back months ago.

Can you change this by adding least 2 more tiers and monitor how these servers go and if do well then add another tier and so on.

Eredon Terrace needs to be removed from Maguuma since Maguuma is in #1 position in tier 1.

All other ideas for this is welcome. (Please keep comments clean thank you)

I never thought I’d say this but DB and BP has been a great linking and I wish we could just merge. However that really don’t fix server hopping issues. I think what its going to have to come down to is to register for a wvw season, and end free to play in wvw due to the amount of exploiting and the lack of GM monitoring. That’s my 2 cents.

That’s because us on DB (the people left after the fall) are competent no matter what tier we are and have always respected our linklings. I still remember the last day of ioj with the map wide farewells and thanks.

I wouldn’t be opposed of making BP our brothers permanently. Low tiers linked with lowest tiers equates to populations that aren’t server jumping bandwagoners, else they’do already jump to t2 or a t2 linkling.

Dear pointaction, I hate to say it, but this doesn’t work. Players will not voluntarily balance out over servers. Even at the scale of WoW with 10 million players, they will not do that.

They will, in fact, pay real world money to achieve the opposite: to join whatever the big winners are in the lottery of wvw at this time.

The only solutions for this are, in fact, involuntary ones. It is necessary to move players without their permission to balance systems, or to move to a universe in which “server” is not the unit by which WvW populations are drawn.

(Note: simply creating red, green, and blue factions, and allowing voluntary membership would also fail, in the same way, as players flock to the winning faction. You must force players to do this, they will not voluntarily balance.)

Even if the transfers were free why would anyone wanna go from t1 or t2 to t3 or t4? people are in the higher tiers because they want more fights. This game mode has no new players coming in and can barely sustain 4 tiers in NA as is. especially ocx sea and eu timezone players. they need to be t1 so they actually have something to fight.

I understand this too. But do realize the ques in up tiers can be so high that at times players that want to play especially on reset night cannot play. Higher tiers ques affect even ocx sea and eu timezone players too.

The point I was pointing out here is balance the tiers out where everyone can enjoy WvW and help their server move up in the tiers as well have awesome fights.

Arena.net is not going to increase population limits in WvW so there has to be a way allow everyone from all times zones to enjoy WvW all times including reset day.

Even I would move down to a lower tier if Arena.net would do promotion so I could move my guild to a lower tier to help out a lower tier and lower ques in tier 1 and tier 2.

I even remember when Maguuma was in tier 3 last year and now look at them they are 1st place in tier 1.

But but everyone wants to play on Maguuma now so there is a lot of people have transferred to Maguuma which has cause problems with ques on the maps. So people cannot play. I heard this from someone on Maguuma.

So ask your yourself this questions below.

Would you want to wait for 1 to 4+ hours of que time to get in to WvW be able play?

OR

Would you want to wait for 0 to 15 minutes of que time to get in to WvW be able play by moving a lower tier?

And thread being removed in 3.2.1…

Transfer to FA so I don’t have to find guilds to transfer her to satisfy my father.

Dude the cost to transfer to a lower tier is lke 125g @500gems. thats like nothing. ez to make for a guild. some of the guilds will pay for exceptional players or ones with potential from the cross links. t1 is just guild burn out and the cycle just keeps kittening itself.

there’s still action in lower tiers. t4 up until the holiday break was 1st/2nd in activity behind t1 for like 6weeks of links. and that’s with all the guilds being bought up into tc/jq/mag. just not many organized guilds and its pug wars in t4 most of the day.

should also add, said pugs steamrolled most of those guilds that had to transfer off so they can play sidecar wvw.

I don’t understand this false belief that there’s no awesome fights in T3 or T4. You can pretty much choose any map you want, find solo roamers, find small groups, and still find a decent mini-zerg to hang with familiar dedicated commanders.

I will never get why T1 players like that drama filled, guild transfer every few week, and over stack games they play up there. Sounds exhausting to keep up with.

I don’t think the q’s are that bad tbh. Maybe EBG gets silly with all the riff raff trying to defend smc but we have our ways of trolling the q’s lol. Ya, mag was in t3 a year ago but they bought a bunch of guilds and got most of db’s ocx after the server fell apart.
