So it’s a series of questions along the same lines.

If I transfer to a server that’s not even near the current matchup I’m in, do I still get the week penalty?

If so, how does the week go. Am I able to raid the next reset or is it a week from the date I xfer?

This late in the game it really doesn’t matter. You won’t be able to play the rest of this match and the next.

loos is right, but for reference, you want to transfer on the day that WvW resets, before the reset occurs to minimize your lockout time.

yes you will get the penalty. I suggest not transferring.

So what exactly is the length? A week? Till the end of seasons? What?

If you transfer before Friday, you will be locked out the remaining days plus the following week.

In other thoughts, sure it’s a good way to stop spies and what not.. but on a whole.. This is another ANet screwup. I disagree with the whole thing.

Its also to discourage people transferring in the middle of the seasons for better rewards. I think the penality is good… People that wanted to jump the ship had time to do it when the seasons were announced along with the new transfers prices (some server even were free).

Season 1.. Whatever server you started on, you got the reward for that server even if you xferred to another.

This time I think it’s the highest percentage of what server you’re on during the season.
