Server association

Well. . . I’ve moved from Far Shiverpeaks to Piken Square almost two months ago ( I don’t really remember, but it’s been some time ). Today I entered WvW and saw this " For this tournament, you are currently associated with Far Shiverpeaks " and I’ve got a little question : does it mean that I’m going to be treated like I would move during the tournament ?
I understand this is supposed to prevent ppl from transferring to a better server ONLY for the tournament, but I switched waay before it. Back then I didn’t even know when the next season of WvW is going to be…

I was under the impression that the WvW changes were immediate until AFTER the 28th of this month – they need to do something about changing that announcement if what you say is true.

Yes, same story. But a little after the First season ended. Since the server is so incredibly dead. Now i still get contributed for the same server, from what the historian tells me. Don’t understand what this is about.

Don’t worry guys.
The hint in chat: For this tournament associated with server xy, means that you played for this server during Season 1 (in words ONE). When new Season 2 (=Spring Tournament) starts and you are doing activities in wvw for your actual server, you will be associated with your actual server.

P.S.: The historian just came out of his/her dusty library and is a little bit confused from this awesome colours, the fresh air and the people asking him/her questions.^^
