Can anyone give me some insight in to which server I should choose? I want something with a lot of people and activity going on. From reading some topics it seems like each server has it’s own culture which is fairly unique for an MMO.

Only matters for wvw as pve is megaserver. T1 and t2 are good bets for wvw activity, but 4 of those servers are full. You will need to provide a little more information on whether you like large scale (Zerg) or small scale (havoc roam). More importantly, at what time of day do you play? Many tiers are quite active North America prime, but not as active in OCX, sea, or eu time.

Id say mostly I’m going to play in the morning 10am est and at night 11pm est or later. I haven’t actually played the game yet so I’m not sure what I want as far as small or large scale. Probably large. Sounds more entertaining.

Your choices may be more limited then. Mos.millenium.org (don’t know how to hyperlink on the iPad) shows the rankings with t1 highest t8 lowest in na. The higher you go, the more active off hours are in general.

If you join eu servers – that time is their prime time (I think) and may have more choices….

Novalily, depending on how big you want your fights to be, you should look at T2-4 for the hours that you mentioned.

If you’re going to play more in the morning, you could still have big fights in T4 or T3. If you’re going to play more in the late evening hours, you’ll want to go to T2 or 3, for big fights in the late-evening and early OCX.

Never pick a server that is dominating the points. Things always change. I am on a t2 server. and imho, go with a tier 4 server, get a commander tag, This will give you both the options of roaming around solo, or picking up a small group and going after things. I myself am giving serious thoughts to dropping to a t4 server. T2 or above your simply looking at blob fights.

Don’t be like this me. Get rid of that other server and upgrade to Jade Quarry.

For a feel of each community visit their website (stickied on page 1). Honestly there are many good servers to chose from. That said I recommend Stormbluff Isle (www.stormbluffisle.com) which stays a great tier in WvW and is known for its strong militia. Welcome to pm with any follow up questions.

Thank you guys a ton for all the great answers. I may switch in the future but for now I joined Fort Aspenwood. However I got to level 2, went to work and came back to my account being banned. So this game has amazing potential in my eyes so far. Lol off to support I go I suppose.

You can move for free if you delete all characters should you not like the fa queues (might not be when you play, but na prime is bad)
