Server imbalance & tougher gameplay
1. No if you have no one to defend a keep the enemy should be able to use its supplies
2. Player do what 1-2% of damage that a ram, sO you need alot of people to pvd. If the gate is upgraded chances are you have some siege inside to defend. Only takes +3 sup AC to wipe a 50 man zerg attempting to pvd.

4. That is why you need to communicate with your primary zerg or commander in wvw at the time. Golems can melt upgraded doors on a keep, but a call out in guild chat or to other wvw maps “Golems attacking garrisson”tends to make a instantly map zerg.
5. ALL maps have 3 exits to prevent spawn camping, but people still stupidly charge out the front entrance thinking they can kill the zerg in front. Can not do anything about stupidity.
6. I think that is more of a issue with stealth stacking to much. A mesmer thief group can perm stealth in a keep. Good for the server but no wxp for the mesmer and thief waiting half a hour for a zerg to come back to recap.

Tonight we re-took our keep only to lose it about 5 mins later to a blob not using siege, they destroyed the door pvd and did it in quick fashion.
As for the spawn point, yes you can go other directions; to my point of view camping in anyone’s spawn is bad gamesmanship in any game and serves no advantage.
I still have fun cause my serve can recap every day and upgrade to max(at least keep at EB – not enough players for other maps and towers get taken during day as well at EB).
Main problem at end of the season might be the rewards cause they just reward better coverage. No real incentive for your people to fight – they are not rewarded for what they are doing. Only rewarding coverage = not skill. No incentive to play better or more(as long as you can’t influence the amount of other players that play – why solo at night? won’t do anything).
We have enough players, no out manned icon showing – unfortunately for us the tactics are not the same as the leading servers which means we’re finding it hard to defend anything. Lots of guilds roaming around & this does not work when we are facing 70 + blobs.
Should people be awarded to fight? surely the stuff we get now is enough?
This so-called league just make the population imbalance worse because people will just transfer to the strongest server possible to ensure they “win” the league.
Anet has NO INTENTION of fixing it. (That’s why they add that Edge of Mist that has nothing to do with server score, population, and strength.)
The whole purpose of this so-called “league” is to make the WvW community to finally spend some pity Gem (and REAL $$) on this game to transfer , simple as that.
If you haven’t notice already, Anet does not care about the balance in WvW.
This league brings nothing good to the WvW community, but Anet still go on and host it because they need the money. They’re a big company, so they need the $$ to continue make the game running.

a net is trying to make the wvw balance but still doesn’t know how to do it since its kinda easy but actually very hard to do due many factors involved in it, too many to mention.
and i think making people transfer is just killing the game, there are many other cheap ways to make money for mmo company and i am glad a net didn’t do that
i agree on making the wvw more harder and tougher. the way it is now wvw score doesn’t reflect anything on the actual server ability. its all about the number of player and i think a net should really cull on that.
also need to improve the design of the defense. there is no emphasis on defense right now so players just run around tagging tower a.k.a karma train. should really punish such behavior by giving penalties if you lost a defense objective. a sharp minus to the world score would do the trick
also a net make the tower guard,supervisor and lord scales with numbers of opposing team. that would drastically discourages mob mentality
wvw on its state now is broken, i find it very frustrating to always playing for the losing side (my server sucks and they wouldn’t listen). i don’t think moving to a “better” server would solve the problem.
anyway there is an official thread for this problem, put your suggestion there and let a net heard what you want to say. it “may” make a difference just keep your fingers crossed

Only solution would be redesign WvW and Map but we know that wont happen.

If you didn’t notice, there has been RAPID movement in many WvW guilds 1~3 weeks before the Season One league begins. My server lost many active WvW guilds to T1 server that it suddenly drop from a T2~3 server to a T5 server.
Anet knows this will happen, that’s why they announce this “exclusive reward for the winning server”, instead of keeping this a secret. If a server really has the mentality to win, they’ll fight as hard as they can even without them announcing this exclusive reward. They announce it because they know they’ll gain alot of profit from server transfer. Some people want a “free ride” to the reward instead of actually caring about the server.
Yes, I agree this will actually kill a game faster, but Anet still go on and do it, which does cause alot of movement between servers. They have numerous way to jack some money out of PVE community, but I guess they’ve yet to figure out a way to jack some money from WvW community, and this may be their solution to it. Even if they do create new map for WvW, they still gain nothing from the WvW community.
People might learn the hard way by transferring to the strongest servers and find they have little to no chance of getting any game play because of the large queues.
Thought about heading back to Piken Square myself before realizing in doing so my chance of any WvW game time would become non existent as they are in tier 1.
