I’ve been hopping servers to try and find a large population so WvW isn’t 85-95% wandering around looking for people to play with/against. However, during that process I got locked out. Apparently, for some odd reason, one cannot change servers that often and when you change to another server that was part of the WvW server face off you get locked out of WvW for being a traitor.

Now to my question, can anyone suggest a highly populated server? The things I would like to know are; Server name, approximate time you played and Country you live in, how many people you come across in PvE during an hour’s worth of gameplay, and the least and most amount of players you have seen in WvW. Thanks.

Heya there, depending if you’re EU/US and also be aware if you transfer now you can’t play WvW till the season ends.
For example in EU, Gandara is one good server that recently was boosted on its rankings, with a lot of action. Choose one server with high focus on WvW is choose queues most of the day. ^-^

Anything T3 on up should meet your needs in NA.

Sry, guess I shoulda added teh fact that i am in US and have only played 1 week so far. I dont mind playing on EU servers as long as they active all day. And what’s t3?

Well i would suggest you research the community of the server you want to join and what type of player you are. TC being the unofficial role playing server for guild wars, we are a very lighthearted community, you will barely ever find a commander yelling at you or the militia, usually it is very optimistic even during rough times……visit different forums and find out what type of community you would like to join and i would suggest to stay at whatever server you pick and get to know your fellow soldiers…

Well, if I were you I’d go to a server with high enough wvw rank but not too high up, since on the T1 servers you get rather long queues on maps in prime time which can be a pain. wvw ranks show more ore less the servers population and time zone coverage. I’m on Stormbluff Isle, 9th place right now, we only get small queues for EB and there’s always someone there to play with. I guess any server between place 4 and 10 would be a good choice if you want the coverage.

BTW I am a woman, so excuse me if I sound like one too.. But I think Chodimon is right, the wvw experience is much more fun if you know and like the commanders on a server.
