Hey Anet,
You guys realy need to improve the server quality, because server lag is getting worse and worse.
I don’t know what you guys did in the past half year, but the lag is worse then before, even when i was on NA server i didn’t had this much llag ( i had only the standard skill lags)
But not this lag what we are having now, people are disconnecting and leaving when we are fighting because of this lag.
Some Borderland you dont have the lag and in the other borders the lag is there.
So please do something about it, and fix this because this is way more important then the expansion.!!!!!

Yep,same here EU… and im getting kittening tired of it..Please forthe love of god fix it already,the game becomes completely unplayable at this point,and it’s been going on for weeks now.

Hear these words! I’m disconnecting everyday during prime time (always worst at that time). If I don’t dc, I still get mad lag spikes. EU servers are in bad shape.

EB is horrible most of the time, 2 years on still. Some guys also have more issues than others on different Borderlands, odd.

It’s honestly never been This bad.I tend to notice that around 21:00 it starts happening,not just me…the entire server lagging straight.Roaming impossible,zerging press 1 and hope you hit something…It’s really no fun…1h later the lag is still going on.Just ended up stopping yday,so bad.

Sounds like they are taking away bandwidth from wvw to support other areas of the game servers like spvp ,….

Again right now…WvW is kittening unplayable anet…. EU FSP.
Guild raids are evening ending way earlier because of the game becoming unplayable.Why isnt this a #1 priority ? People stop playing because of it.

Stop zerging and it won’t lag as much. It is a-nets fault for making zerging so rewarding though.

It even lags when there is no zerg nearby…wondering if it has anything to do with the increased glitching? I’ve noticed more and more ‘phantom yaks’ and bugged upgrades as well.

Yeah, cause heaven forbid a folks rune together with their guild and friends on a large, high population pvp map.

I’m with this problem too since HoT was announced. I come from Perú (Southamerica) and this problem isn’t just on WvW, I get 20s delay doing Tequatl today.

Same here, getting massive lagspikes and disconnects lately, especially during the personal/living story episodes and during the evenings, didn’t have any issues until about 2 weeks ago. EU Desolation.

Same issue here. I got the game during the sale and it’s been running flawlessly, up until 2 days ago, on approximately Feb. 5th. Since then, I get incredible lag spikes of up to a minute duration every 1 or 2 minutes, and crashes to the character select screen with error codes every 5 – 10 minutes. Still looking into it

I’ve same problems, When I started playing GW2 beta here in New Zealand it had the odd chance of lag second at most which was fixed then. Since December its lag spikes up 20 sec or more?! also crashes to error codes more than 5 times a week. Please fix lag again

I’m in the same boat, I just don’t login in anymore due to the lag, I really wish to play the game, but seeming I only PvP and I can’t do such…I’m just waiting for a fix, because its truly not enjoyable when your character is constantly dropping skills :/, I’ve tried a few things myself to fix the game, such as port-forwarding 80,443,6112,6600, forcing gw2 client to port 80, reformatting my PC, fresh installation of gw2, updating/uninstalling old drivers, contacting my ISP, and seeming that I’ve read countless posts about players experiencing such, I’m starting to believe its on there end :/

Unfortunately I have also lags in tPvP very often. Please repair it.

Unfortunately, posts like these aren’t gonna help Anet too much, since there’s no indication of where the problem lies.

In order to get the best possible help, run game advisor and open a support ticket with the output from there as attachment. Then Anet can at least understand where the problem lies. Surprisingly often it may not even be at their end or at your own ISP’s end, but somewhere in the middle. A certain server from the network operator Telia tends to pop up quite often as the source of these lags, for example, and in that case there’s not a whole lot Anet can do, but the network operator has to do something about it.

you can use a vpn to greatly decrease/remove the lag (https://hide.me/en/ you can try this one; i use it because as soon the trial runs out i can register with a new e-mail)
other than that there is already a thread with 24 pages here on the forum and no one seems to give a kitten

It’s the internet guys starting a new thread about this is not going help if you live in the EU then there’s not much can be done you need to check this thread out

Some are blaming it on Netflix but I’m thinking it’s the goverment checking all Internet traphic for terrorism
