To be fair, the information on who drops this spoon is a bit spotty and contradictory on the internet.

What I do know:
1. It drops in WvW
2. This may or may not include Edge of the Mists
3. This may be only select mobs in Edge of the Mists
4. Normal WvW is rather dead (other than Eternal Battlegrounds) right now

SO, if I CAN get it from EotM, then I would prefer to, I just don’t want it to be a waste of my time.

Can anyone confirm any drops of this spoon RECENTLY from EotM? Or am I better off staying in EB?

It does include Edge of the Mists. I don’t know what it dropped off but that’s where I got mine.

I get them from champ bags in EotM. I have gotten several. Just go karma train for a few hours. Should get you one.

I got one from a Tower Champ in EotM, the one that uses a bunch of burning tar fields. I’ve also gotten one from a sentry on the old borderlands. No recollection of other times when it dropped.

I got several from wvw before, but I can’t tell you what or why they dropped. Consideting the name, I am wondering if your chances increase if A) You’re tagged and/or You’re operating seige that takes down a gate or wall of the tower cap.

I think it can drop anywhere in WvW. Whats funny is the drop rate though. I’ve had probably 20 drop since HOT, I sell them as I receive them, some of my guildies who hoard them have not received a single drop since HOT.

You can get them from any of the veteran/champion npcs in wvw. Your best bet is to go camp and sentry flipping – I swear I used to get more spoons when I was on my own or in a small group compared to when I was running with a zerg.

They don’t drop any more once you’ve completed the spoon collection. Another way in which HoT shattered our dreams.

These guys haven’t completed the collection they just hoard siege commander spoons.
