Siege Towers for Gliders into Keeps/Towers
Yes, sure, make it easier for blobs to take over towers/keeps by letting them completely bypass walls/gates.
Unless you give me some flak cannons, your idea is absurd.

Just because I prefer the current state over what you propose doesn’t mean I like it either. We already have enough of blobs rolling over tower/keeps like if they were nothing and you just want to give them a way to completely bypass the only thing that is there to delay them. I actually would find funny if I had a flak cannon to one-shot people trying to glide over my walls but still… People can solo ABL keep lords, let alone towers. Things would flip left and right without anyone seeing and defense would become more pointless than it already is. Remember the no swords period? It would be pretty much the same.
Defense needs to be encouraged, and giving the attackers a way to completely bypass defense is going to the oposite direction.

Which part? The siege tower part? The glider part?
I’ve always wondered why we don’t have siege towers/ladders – possibly operable like golems. Maybe with a relatively long wind up to drop the drawbridge – similarly long to raise it ( and immobile while the bridge is down).
Maybe make it so any damage to the player operating the tower interrupts the dropping of the drawbridge?
Would have to be immune to portals & stealth I think.
I’m sure it could be balanced with enough health/toughness to be viable, while still being possible to defend against.
Maybe making it take significantly more damage from cannon/oil/cata/treb/bali ( but not AC.. that wouldn’t make a lot of sense).
I’m sure this could be implemented and be quite an interesting alternative to golem rush.
making it a very narrow choke would make it difficult to push up some kind of winding staircase, balancing out that it bypasses walls/gates.
Sadly the wvw forum seems to be full of negative posts towards anything that alters the status quo of the format.

As much as I love gliding, it has no place in WvW. It would give HoT owners a permanent advantage over people who only own the core game, which is not ok, as well as make walls absolutely trivial if a siege tower was added.
Regardless of what you think walls are for (in another thread some people seem to think they serve only to slow down enemies, other people think they are there to actually give the defenders an advantage), you shouldn’t be allowed to bypass them entirely by just gliding over them. At that point why not just take them out altogether and have the lord stand in the middle of a supply camp?
It’s everything, its excitement. I mean, the ingame music isn’t even frequent anymore. You may think these are trivial matters but done right, a supposedly bad movie and can made good with perfectly timed music interval, que kitten by Matthew Vaughn (SP).
The ingame music for wvw when you first go in, is lame as hell! Why not just have non stop upbeat great WvW Gw2 music, it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s the whole experience. Did Jereme Soule limit which songs can be played due to budgetary concerns?
It’s the whole experience, Anet stuff needs to play their own game and submit that experience to their managers, otherwise there will be alot of polls showing throwaway interaction which some seem to crave. We all have feelings use it to create great games.
