I looked for a topic about this but couldn’t find one on the first few pages.

At the Moment we on Abaddon’s Mouth have the problem that often while building up siege weapons they will just disappear. We’re 100% sure that there is no damage by enemies involved. We start putting supps into them and they just disappear. One of our assumptions is, that some players might be “infested” with the bug and when they try to build something the siege disappears and as long as they don’t build stuff everything works fine. We came to this guess becasue every now and then we can still finish a siege but 60-70% of the time it disappears. We couldn’t try this in a test environment as our zerg is to contains to many randoms that will build up siege too.

Anyone else observed this bug?

As far as i see this is not the same problem. They talk about the 2 min timer till siege despawns when it is not build. But our problem is that our siege despawns while we are outting supps into it. Example: Our commander sets up a treb and we start building it up. WHILE we put the supps in that treb just despawns.

If a treb build site is placed inside your safe area, it will vanish as soon as you try to build it.
This is the new fix to stop people building stuff inside those areas.

We had this too on the Desolation server, attacking a tower putting a ram, but it just vanished. We tried over 5x and all 5 rams disappeared even when it was half build.

The same thing happened to our group in EB several times last night. The blueprint was dropped. We started building it and then it just disappeared in mid-build. I do not think we were in a “safe” spot(s) as all were out in the open field. The most notable was when we were on a hill west of Kloven (above the sentry spawn point) …trying to siege Klov and Wc. Is there a reason siege is disappearing while being build as soon as the blueprint is dropped? We had no other siege placed anywhere near us on the map and I do not think we were in a “safe area”. My apologies if I do not understand “safe area”.

We were sieging up our garrison, with a bit of siege there already present, and while we were throwing down more blueprints they disappeared when we tried to build them with the message “cannot place siege weaponry here”. I got the message when trying to build someone else’s blueprints too.

I assume this is a bug? Lost quite a few blueprints because of this. Normally you’d get the message before throwing a print down.

I think you’re missing the point. Normally you can’t even throw the siege and you get the “cannot place siege here” message right away, but now you can throw but when you actually press F to build it it disappears with and then you get the message. So you lose your blueprint.

The same thing happened to me when trying to build an AC on the ground outside wildcreek to take down a treb, and couldnt place any siege on SM lords room, when there was no other siege around.

We are having the same problem at the vista opposite of ANZ and also at the cata spot near the dredge exit. Our trebs disappear after you finish building them. Catapults get built fine.

It doesn’t happen on all spots. After so many wasted blueprints one got made on the slope going up to the vista in front of ANZ.

No doubt it’s a bug that’s come up in light of A: the new and improved siege timer being awesome, and B: so many arrow carts being placed all over the map.

the problem with the siege despawning is that the timers are wayy too short. let’s say i wanna build a supererior ac but we are upgrading, so i go to a camp…camp is under attack u repel them and arrowcart is gone… building a treb is really hard as it constantly despawns.

Also the timers in keeps for arrow cart are way too short anyways. what if u go retake a keep u wont be refreshing siege every 30 min u might even forget as taking a keep takes long…meanwhile someone goes to attack your garrison watergate..u head back and all ac’s are gone..arrowcart should last 1hour

The problem seems to be with the Commander tag. It was happening the same thing to my guild with all the siege weapons and then we figured out it only happened when the commander was involved in the process of creating/building the siege weapon. Then he removed his tag and everything worked as usual.
Try to see if it’s the same thing with you.

Had at least one ram disappear attacking Hills and one golem at our own Garrison supply depot. Both siege items were either just completed or near completion, we had only very player minimal aoe on the ram and had no issue getting a couple other rams up.

Several Superior Arrow Carts disappeared in Wildcreek Tower while being built in different absolutely legit spots on the walls. There is definitive a new bug introduced in the game concerning siege weapons.

To be totally clear, the ac’s disappeared while being built. They’d already taken supply from more than one builder and vanished during the build cast. There was no active commander involved.

We were having this problem in EB last night. Our cmmdrs couldn’t place siege near Anzalias without it disappearing while being built. Aztex mentioned that it seemed to be connected to cmmdrs though.

I’ve seen this happening a few times, our guild figured out one of our members for some reason had the “siege deployment blocked” buff on while roaming about the map. When a person with this buff attempts to build siege, it will instantly despawn. Not really sure how the buff stuck around, but it did. Logging out seemed to remove the bug
