Sieging "Outside the Box" - Game Changing siege locations
“Why would you place a cata there? It hits the gate!!!!”
I know. . . . this is inside a keep but outside the box because people don’t realize its splash goes through the gate. It devastates any assault and if properly manned the objective wont fall without a treb on the cata or coming through the walls. You will see the zerg i held off in this video.
This is already known, and it’s as legit as a Magus Rifting entire Warbands through keep doors into an AoE bomb.
Another tactic that players can use in their gaming experience. :P
The best way to defend a keep or tower any more is to build all siege equipment inside just behind the gate and wait, then blast the attackers as they charge through. Placing defensive siege equipment on the walls is a waste of time since they will be AOE’d down in seconds anyways.

Some arrow carts can stay safe, and there are several ballista locations that cant be hit.
One of my favorites here, taken during Republic’s assault on Darkhaven’s Borderland and Garrison. DH had numbers, we had an arrow cart . . . . .
