1. You can warp into WvW from anywhere in Tyria, but you cannot leave unless you go through the double load screen of the border waypoint and the lions arch Asura gate, or else the usual method of exiting the game entirely and logging back in.

2. You almost always get stuck in “build mode” if lots of people are building a siege weapon and have to spend 10 seconds impotently trying to move. This is a lot less of a “small” problem if you are in a zerg fight and happen to be a commander.

3. Commanders get message suppressed. Nuff said.

4. All it takes to contest a waypoint is one scrub knocking on the gate with a dagger. Seriously. At least require a ram or equivalent siege weapon. 1 person does not a siege of a keep make.

5. Yak speeds in eternal battlegrounds are different for all the keeps, and skew heavily towards the Green Team (the strongest) that has the shortest supply routes to their keep, and penalizes the red team (the weakest) who has the longest yak paths to their keep. Ever escorted the Speldan yak to mendons and on to overlook? lol are you dedicated. And very very bored.

6. The water gate at the lowlands keep. Seriously. wtf. I know how Anet is desperate to encourage aquatic battles, but a door you cannot siege and can only knock down with a ridiculous number of people is not the way to do it, especially since any enemy with two brain cells to rub together when faced with such numbers will simply aim 5 superior AC’s at the sewer pipe in the inner keep and massacre people trying to desperately jump out of the water while crippled.

7. You don’t get anything except good feelings for shelling out a gold for a keep upgrade. Surely such dedication for the cause is worthy of Karma? At least if the upgrade you buy completes? Perhaps a daily/monthly achievement? Maybe even a title? Master Engineer perhaps? Has a nice ring. But nope. We run on charity. And shameless begging for money.

8. Escorting yaks still gives you nothing but a good feel.

9. The chest bosses in eternal can be kited into objectives, like Speldan Clear Cut and the inner walls of Valley keep.

10. Wall barriers prevent mortars from firing at many different angles, but only on keeps that have such barriers on their walls. Sucks to be you overlook keep, again.

11. There is no commander icon viewable by guild members only. If you want your entire guild to know where you are, you have to go through a massive process because you can’t turn your hat on. It would only confuse the issue on the map. It’s called guild wars, can’t we have guild commanders?

Golems.

I’m not even saying this for funsies. Did it the other day myself. Had the zerg knocking on the NE outer whilst the golems ninja’d through the water gate. Was in there before they knew there was even a gate down.

You don’t have to exit entirely, just go to character menu is enough.

2. You almost always get stuck in “build mode” …

Just start moving when you hit 0 supply and you’ll go out. At least that works for me.

The battlements on the walls. Sometimes they are placed right by a mortar tube, which cannot shoot over them. The shot is always intercepted. It gives the mortar a serious blind spot.

We find this frustrating the most, no way for our guild to organize havoc squads without inviting everyone in the zone to us. Trying to make a fast moving hit and run squad and stay under the 25 person orange sword limit? Impossible to do in game with the current grouping mechanics.
