Getting enemy players to low health. Then poof they disappear.

I’m thinking ‘alright. Guess he must of rage quit.’

But then I got no bag, no wxp and no kill count for it. Then the same sword and board wielding warrior came back at me. Got them to 10% health and you guessed it. Poof. Gone!

This isn’t an isolated case either as I’m starting to see it more and more from random players I encounter.

Half way into the EB jumping puzzle I kept managing to get this thief to low health before they stealthed and disappeared for a while. I thought to use my anti-stealth trap on him. I downed the thief and spiked him. Then he suddenly appears in front of me two seconds later. Figured it wasn’t worth the trouble and simply went on to finishing the puzzle.

Nothing you can do about it..

I also have the same experience where people who are not supposed to be able to stealth stealth away like they were a thief.
or know exactly where you are hiding, had commanders name exact amounts of players/location/amount of supplies in towers and keeps/siege and even the timers on siege was known (note he didn’t have spies telling him) he just openly relayed all information since all other servers are doing the same thing..

Don’t forget the clipping hacks here you can just walk trough everything, fying hacks are less common because people might get reported and banned within a couple of months. yet they are all still out there, and players have no way to fight it.
reporting would be nice but you have to be able to target the hackers.. and that usually is even more difficult
anyway.. yeah..

In pve, I see a lot of people using teleportation hacks at farming nodes but haven’t seen anything like this in wvw for a looooonnnnng time.

Agree. This is becoming more and more common.
It may not be a hack though – it’s just too common. I know some people cheat but this happens two or three times in every fight.
(OTOH, Apropos the influx of PvE players desperate to get their ‘achievements’, who knows what they are thinking?)

Since this thread isn’t about engrish lessons: Yes I have noticed a few people “stealthing” that shouldn’t be able to stealth at all. (And no it is not runes etc)

I to have problems with spelling i have too big mistakes i make when typing , i understand you’re concern but their are people who try there best to type in english
that is not there first language..

I’ve also noticed a big increase in this so called alt +f4 cr*p goin on, guessing it’s due to the new influx of PvE players who can’t stand getting beat up by another player.

Same with the stealthing thing, seems I’ve missed the introduction of stealth to other classes then thief and mesmer.

FYI, Engineers got a reliable group stealth this last patch, so this may be some of what you are seeing.
