I wonder what anet was high on when they thought they could make this game an esport even a tenth as popular as sc2, lol, or dota 2.

there are many sports not a popular as soccer or football around there world that doesn’t make them any less of a sport…last i checked mlg is sponsoring the next tournament so that says something and if they added a death match type thing i think t/pvp would actually attract more people

Wonder why there isn’t any good esport games. Only reason play those games is win money.

The Devs seem like the band kids in high school. To make a esport one has to be a jock that starts on many different teams.

Wonder how many of the Devs have played in LAN tourneys on a big stage. Most of the other esports have Devs from pro gaming backgrounds.

Those minor sports have culture and traditions. People would play them without leagues or endorsements. How many people play spvp for fun?

Those games look so cheesy compared to GW2. And its not PvP. They’re more of strategy games.

But they are slower so the spectators can follow what’s happening better. GW2 is so fast I have a hard time following videos of other people. I can really only follow it if I’m playing it.

Think this is meant to be in spvp? o.O wvw would never be an esport.
