Points per stomp are now a massive part of your server’s score. You can’t increase your points per stomp by trading objectives clockwise around a map, or by holing up in a keep. Even keeping a scout in each objective while a single massive zerg rolls around the map isn’t enough anymore.

Winning servers will still be ones with good coverage, but even that effect is lessened: far fewer points will be gained by any server during non-prime hours. In other words, you can tick for 600 for twelve hours every day and still lose, because taking stuff while the other servers aren’t playing now doesn’t reward as highly.

So, it solves zergs by rewarding splitting up and lessening the reward of PvD and nightcapping.

unfortunately the solution for not zerging is to chose not to zerg. only we players can do that.

people stack becouse of the AOE cap, 30 people attack 5 people they will hit all of em… 5 people attack the 30 people the only hit 5.
by raising the cap or just eliminating it, the stupid warrior hammer drone/mindless train will become something that require to use at least a braincell.

Good luck aoeing anything if they remove the aoe cap, because the servers will lag so much you will only be able to press 1.

Unfortunately the AoE cap has been stated to be a technical limitation that will most likely never be changed.
In regards to the ruins, I’ve had a couple of good small group fights there, but mostly saw no action.

The only way to solve zerging is to divide keep/ tower capture rewards by the number of people that capture it.

there are two flaws in your statment about zergs being punish by removing the aoe limit tho i would argue that they would be rewared for being able to have a few guardians running around clicking “stand your ground” then or any other abilty that gives aoe ret as that will make zergs unkillable;) but thats only a matter of opionion vs opinion.

lol not only that but add 50-150 in all stats for said zerg and it’s just ridiculous. Most zergs already have 80%+ running stack weapons you add in most cases 100 points across the board and that zerg was stronger than before. I don’t understand how this is supposed to help the smaller servers?

this and do honsetly believe the aoe cap is gonna make zergs go like:oh cool now we are gonna split up?

nah then that 60 man zerg will have no aoe limit and wipe 15 people in less than a seconds
