OK after playing a bunch of new version i can safely say that if Anet does not do something it will have a dead game on its hands.

Yes the homeland maps are terrible and nobody was asking for them.
Yes the homeland maps are too big.
Yes there are a bunch of new bugs…some very game breaking such as hitting through walls.
Yes there was almost nothing added that was asked for and a bunch of stuff that was not.
Yes not one thing done to fix the zerg problem.
Yes the attacker still has the advantage when taking castles as you can’t get away as the AOE’s that cover the wall.

All of that pales in comparison with the “pay to win” aspect of the expansion.
The problem is that every single character class that is available in the expansion is more powerful than the plain vanilla one. This is quite evident once you play for a bit.

Even worse than the power imbalance and pay to win however is the complete lack of game play balance. There are no counters to many of the skills. For example if you are not a class that has stability access, the castable circular trap that lasts several seconds is ridiculously OP. Consider that you made traps on the trapper runes not AOE targettable. The traps just did damage and applied a condition. This thing traps you in the small circle and you are dead in zergville.

The game is truly moving into the “terrible game” region of rankings as the game on day one is vastly better than today.

Judging by the nearly 100% gripe posts in this area I am not alone in this opinion.
If you are brave make a poll in the WvW area that asks “How would you rate the expansion ona scale of 1 to 10?”. This isn’t a troll but an honest opinion about how bad the game has gotten.
