Guild Wars 2

After Season 1 finished our server is kind of lacking people in WvW, so I was hoping Season 2 would start soon, but I can’t seem to find info on this “Season” idea and how it suppose to work.

So do they have only 1 Season per year or are they having each Season with a week break in between or something?

They don’t have a set date (at least not officially) for Season 2 yet. But they will not start it this year, and most likely not until after the first update (January 21st) either.

They need to collect feedback and data about the seasons and make chances based on that before starting a new one.

Considering how successful this was, I’d be surprised if they waited that long. First week of the new year seems like the best time to kick it off with all the college age kids home for january.

Ok thanks, I hope they start season 2 soon as possible, right now there isn’t a whole lot of people playing WvW on my server now that season 1 is over.

I would doubt it would start till well after the patch that brings EotM and Acount bound wxp and I don’t see these being added till the patch that is supposed to follow the end of the living story arc. So what is that mid to late February?

Hard to gauge wvw pop the next few weeks…

Who stopped because of lackluster chest? Who took a break after season ended (many put in over time)? Who transferred back off the season winners (or predicted winners)?

University finals, Wintersday, and the holidays will probably all affect the pop over the next few weeks….
