we’re trying here on IoJ to help as much as we can. I just don’t think that between SoS and IoJ we have the numbers to compete against what ET. They always seem to outnumber us by a huge amount.
And the IoJ team seems to think that helping SoS defend Shadaran, by attacking ET from the back, is a bad idea. Sorry SoS. some of us are tying to help
Good job guys, glad to see your picking up, keep at it and remember, theres more than 1 exit out of spawn.
Try to secure a tower and supply lines and defend it hard, if you have a whole server defending one tower, you’ll keep it i promise. From that tower you can then push out.
ET would like a good fight, we don’t get any practice making golem lines (though they are amusing)
It was good fun and I enjoyed looking at that sweet hard earned orb. Every time we push this hard, we have a lot of fun and learn a lot about the game and I think that’s what counts the most.

Popping in to add my 2 copper to the discussion. I was part of the zerg that took the map back and snatched the orb. Easily the highlight of the WvW night. Excellent leadership was shown by Jedahs in coordinating the attacks (no, I’m not in their guild, just giving credit where credit’s due).
Hoping to be on for Aus prime time and see us make another glorious stand against the oppression of the green menace.
Sort-of commander of Oceanium (AUNZ) here, we will be having a bunch of members doing WvWvW tonight at 7pm AEST, normally we just focus on commando tactics, cappin supply camps behind their lines and killing sentry’s, but we would be more than happy to follow Jedahs or Pelum.Just throw us an order or two in game or on the forums and we will do what we can.Good to see SoS finally start being a bit more co-ordinated.
As one of the WvW commanders that was on the ET map when the Orb was taken (IoJ here) we were on the west side, and kept 40+ ET busy while the orb was taken
That said, it felt good to see the orb taken, even if it wasn’t by IoJ. Great work SoS.
Having people take considerable initiative to capture and carry the orb, quite literally just as we secured Shadaran, was a sight to behold.
Goes to show that intelligently orchestrated tactical gameplay can overcome when considerably outnumbered and being sabotaged by chat spies. Big props to all who participated and assisted. I personally foresee SoS achieving WvW greatness with continued efforts like these.
Finally good to see SoS pull some coordination out of the hat.
Was thinking about cutting my losses and just leaving the server for a smaller more coordinated server but by the sounds of it we might of finally got it together.
definitely enjoyed that episode where SoS took our orb. Was around for that and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to have some fun again as opposed to the flat out boredom most of the time in WvW. I tip my hat to SoS and IoJ and hopefully their alliance will make things alot more interesting over the course of the next few days.
i love this. There’s a thread on the main page saying that an alliance between HoD and SBI against JQ is unacceptable, and here this is – obvious teaming up.
