I was thinking, since there are obviously discrepancies in WvW, why not give those players on servers with long queues the option to join servers that don’t. Some players don’t want to wait hours to join the fray, and just want to be part of the action. Why not allow, say, someone from Henge of Denravi who has been waiting in queue for hours, the option to join WvW on the side of Kaineng if it is currently undermanned. It would help to balance out those servers that are lacking in numbers, while at the same time cut down on the ridiculous wait times some servers experience. I know players usually want to represent their server, which is why this would be completely optional. Just a suggestion

You can server transfer to other servers.

The problem is human mindset: Very few people want to join a losing team. Most people want to join a winning team.

Since you can transfer -to- a winning (and long queue time) server that’s what most people do.

I would like to see server transfers closed to higher population servers. That would start the cycle of stabilization of populations. Plus, we cannot forget that a number of players will simply stop playing GW2 soon from having played their fill of it.

Or, in many cases, we are on a server with many friends who we have played with for years and have a well developed relationship with other like minded people on the server. Not to mention our guilds have a lot of upgrades that we lose access to by transfering.
