I just don’t have an explanation for this. Jade Quarry [SG] player here. A few minutes ago all the guildies get on SOR borderlands for some WvW. We decide to cap bloodlust buff points. After many excellent as always fights with BG and SOR we gain the buff. As we are holding it SOR caps 3 and the 2 minute timer starts. We bring all but one point to neutral/and or back to ours. The timer is still going. Why I have no idea? My party of friends and I do the only logical thing and go to cap the one remaining SOR point. as soon as we get close to it with 30 seconds left on the clock…. all of our games crash at the same time. Not just the party, but most of our guild in that borderlands (20-30.) SOR gains the buff. Look I’m all for the team that holds their points getting the buff. I’m not sure what happened, but this just seemed unfair. Maybe its a combination of bad luck and a bad case of complaining on my part. Who knows.

Agreed. now I’m hearing from some guildies that they have read somewhere that the timer is an acknowledged bug. Anyone else had experiences with this?

According to the devs, the timer is just a UI bug and you’re hallucinating when you think it isn’t.

One of the QA team acknowledged that this was a bug a few weeks ago on a livestream. They thought they’d fixed it but apparently its still there in a new form :p

The timer is definitely a bug, unfortunate crash timing aswell but personally i wouldnt look anymore into it
