Please fix your servers,it is over 30 minutes past the reset time and most primary guilds and commanders cannot get on any maps, and PPT is not ticking properly….

This game has been out for how long???? and you are still having problems on some of the most important nights of your game!!!!! Come on!!!!!! you might as well just shut down the WVW servers and call this game Guild PVE wars…… this is crazy……………

Don’t go to tier 1 and not expect ques, especially on first night of tournament. Would think a dedicated wvw player/commander would know that….

When we confirmed less than 30 BG on map first 40 minutes…. then it is the SERVER not queues bud….

I don’t have sympathy for T1 when the only reason you are there is because you destroy those beneath you.

At reset, in TCBL, we (TC) had the outnumbered buff for about five minutes, even though the map was supposedly queued. Big picture, it didn’t have much of an impact because five minutes in we suddenly got more people and things were back to normal…but there was definitely something wrong in the beginning.

@Neuroticgrim …..Yesterday on reset on EU there were same problem and a lot of ppl could not get in their maps at reset. This ofcourse sucks BUT note that your opponents couldnt either and if they did, I strongly advice u to get a better PC.

Also since that your in T1 and your complaining for being in queus at a season start. This is obvious mate and I agree with all fella’s b4 me that there is not sympathy for ppl that go T1 and complain about queus. If you do, move down and find another server.

PS: T1 server Seafarers Rest had a good 300+/- queu on EB, I didnt hear ppl complain about that on forum yet even after they also had the map block for first 30 minutes.

I dont think it will take much to get OP on rage. If you are longer then 1 season around you really should know by now all maps will get a queue on reset when a tourney begins. Especially in T1 if i may believe his signature.

Just be glad there is no AP grind at all this time so people come in , fart 5times and are done with it.

As a veteran WVW player in T1 I understand that there will be crazy, crazy queues, I have been on Blackgate since Server Start. I have no issues with queues, we had even expected queues in the high hundreds. I had my PS4 sitting on my desk setup so I could play destiny while I waited in queue, so those of you telling me to stop worrying about the queue and that it is my fault….. Just shut up…. And get out…… you trolls…….. Also, it is not my PC, I have a crazy pc…… have to, to be able to stream and record etc…..

What angers me, is being on TS with all of the major guilds in BG, maps reset, people spam, and then each of the guilds gets less than 6 -20 on maps. We do callouts across all guilds, and the majority of guilds did not get more than 10 on at the start. Most of the guilds were able to get their entire guilds into Obisian Sanctum. Those of us that did get people to map had them tag up and rally what they could, only to find that there was less than 40 bodies on each map. For those of you throwing snide remarks of “how does he know how could they know?” I am sorry you are on a kittenty sever that does not communicate well with its milita….. But we do, many of the T1 guilds across NA ND EU are great at working with their miltia, and those milita are usually happy to help rally and figure things out………
It was confirmed that at least two of the NA T1 servers were impacted, also several of the EU kitten servers by this incident. Rhis is not about winning or losing, points, fairness etc…..

This is about anet getting its kitten together after 2 – 3 years and doing something right……. For once………….. If you as a game company plan an event for one of your biggest in game systems , DO IT RIGHT, especially if you have done it twice before………

The sugar topping on the cake was after many of us stuck it through and waiting our time in the queue, I personally waited 3 hours (was fun playing destiny…. Though lvl 20 came to fast…)….. After many, many players waited these many hours to get on map…… We get a yellow warning that they are doing a patch and we will be booted from map….. Did we get ten minutes to get out and get settled? No!!, we were kicked less than 60 seconds after the warning was given……. And then right back into queue…….

For those of you trying to troll “you deserve queues” “how would you know” “It’s your fault” …….. Just get out…If you can’t be constructive… and advise if you server was impacted or not…. Get out….… you can ask any of the primary guilds or commanders on BG and they will validate that this was BS and that members of the guilds were furious…….

ANET, we expect an answer from you… How can you still keep getting it wrong? Do you not QA? Or put extra people in your OCC/NOC ready to provide swift support at the start of a huge event? What are you doing? It is time you start to be more transparent……. Or you will start to lose all major wvw groups…. Hell… you have already started to lose them after the crap you called S2……….

Also, Huge side note: It was really fun to watch the Dev that was streaming following CERN ……. The rage was high with BG’s GOF and JINX running you over, but it was all fun ? I hope to see more Dev’s involved in aspects of the game, and experiencing out pain, when you fail to get it right again…….

I watched the same stream and didn’t see any rage (at least up until I stopped watching at 2am eastern or so). Maybe you were just hoping for that or it happened after I stopped watching. I thought it was great hearing the dev comments.

Yeah agreed, it was cool to see things from the “other side” even if it was a dev. It also allows those guilds involved to figure out what mistakes were made on movement, positioning, engagement, etc…

I do agree it was a bad move to have a patch that would force you to disconnect right after the tournament began unless it was to fix something completely game breaking (or even specifically WvW breaking, I’d say) that couldn’t be fixed before. 100% agree at that.

That said, you really have no way to know whether you were really locked out of WvW because of a bug or just because there were lots of people there. You are in TS with a well organized militia, as you say, which is why your server is on T1… thing is, no matter how organized your server usually is, you can’t say for sure that everyone that is on WvW was on TS that particular time.

Everyone that was on TS and part of the militia means that they are WvW regulars, there are LOTS of people that went into WvW, or tried to, after reset and most likely after the patch made everyone reconnect as well, that have never done it before, or are just not interested in WvW at all, yet still want the tournament rewards (specifically the hero skins), so they most likely aren’t interested enough to find the TS info, or log in if they have it, or maybe not even have TS at all, and just went there to go to the first commander they could find and follow until they get their 5 events done to qualify for the rewards.

I’m not in T1 (Yak’s Bend server) but I do know that I’m in that boat, the first night we had queues in all maps (haven’t seen one in the other nights), and I joined one and went to WvW on the random PvE built character I happened to be playing while I waited in queue, looked for the nearest commander and followed it until my achievements are done, and wasn’t even in TS (didn’t even know where to look for the TS info). Granted, I do find WvW a bit of fun here and there, so I’ve gone into it several times in the following nights, this time with a WvW built and geared character (necro) and with the TS on… but I also know LOTS of people doesn’t bother and just want the achievement done…
